It gives an awful impression of the game to new-comers.. when can we expect server merges for the outrageous amount of servers?
Many people had unrealistic expectations, or updates and fixes did not come as fast as they wanted. Either way the game is still going strong, perhaps try a different server. For half of everyday at least my server has nearly 200 people on the fleet.

Your not even level 50 yet? Why dont you get to level 50 before complaining about not being able to find a group LOL

Maybe your server just has a ton of level 50's like mine . alot of people in their 40's dont do fp's they just do quests cuz they want to get to 50 fast. That being said i have a guild with 100 people in it so i never had a problem doing fp's or finding groups while i was leveling.

Also at least on my server tanks seem to be the least needed while your still leveling but the most needed at top level. Maybe because alot of people made alts that are tanks and are currently leveling those up.

WHAT SERVER ARE YOU ON?

/sigh

The dev tracker is your friend, though I guess just posting 'This game fails' is easier.

An LFG tool is coming in a future patch.

Funny you say that because just last night we had 3 new people log in after they couldn't fill their Dragon Soul raid and wanted to see what we were doing that was so much fun...

So maybe your problem is you are finding exactly what you are looking for - which is an excuse to go back and play WoW since you clearly said that's what you want to be doing

I'd rather not give out my server.. I haven't asked which one you're on, but I'd prefer to keep that private. What meaning does that give, anyway?

Axial Park server. East cost.

Doing /who 1-10,11-20 etc. on both factions combined shows a grand total of 400 players on the server.

Rebublic: 25 people on fleet. 11 lvl 50. players online across all zones.

Empire: 21 people on fleet. 6 lvl 50. players online across all zones.

This is at 7:50 PM. which is primetime for gaming.

Make of this what you want.... but how much endgame pve/pvp do you expect with between 5 and 20 other lvl 50s online at primetime? rofl...

Azzras, when have I said "this game fails?" What I've SAID IS: I want to enjoy this game, but BioWare is making it very difficult with their design choices. I have a hard time believing BioWare when they say "we'll patch it" considering all the problems / gamebreaking issues were pointed out in beta and completely ignored. How long do we have to wait for a payable game? How long should we pay BioWare to beta-test their game?

Bioware has a ton of work to do. Anyone who doesn't see that is blind - but that doesn't mean we all should go out and cancel our subs, or even throw tantrums on message boards.lol

Rome wasn't built in a day. Most MMO's in the last decade had horrible launches (except for Rift, which stands as the lone exception). The patches have to come. If they don't come, there will eventually be no reason to stay subbed. But that only leaves two options:

1.) Stick with it. Enjoy what content is available, and if the bugs don't affect you, bear with Bioware while they repair the issues for those that are affected.

2.) Unsub. Come back later when the issues have been resolved. Wait for Bioware to get things ironed out and maybe come back in a few months to a year to see if the changes improve your own personal experience.

The thing is, not everyone sees this transitional period as reason to run off into the night shouting obscenities. Personally, I'm subbed until March. If nothing truly game breaking happens between now and then, I'll probably re-sub and continue to watch the ongoing progress of the game. Of course, I never went in expecting a smooth ride. Somewhere deep down I always knew there would be some nasty bumps along the way - and boy have there been some nasty ones.

Not all people who defend the game are doing it out of blind loyalty. Some just honestly are content enough with the game - even with the issues - that they feel the need to point out that, "Hey, it's true - there are indeed people that actually like the game, are still subbed to it, and aren't jumping ship anytime soon. Just throwing that out there."

Being real about the state of things isn't the same as being negative or overly positive. Being real just means you accept the reality - how you take it is all up to your own individual prerogative.

My server is "standard" during prime time.

It's an East Coast one, and I have checked the level 50 population at 8:30 p EST the past 5 days (last Tuesday through yesterday - Sunday). The highest was 68 on Tuesday, and the lowest was 52 on Sunday.

I have never seen the Imperial Fleet over 100 people (I wasn't on the Fleet much during December during the level up process, but am quit a bit now).

I know the Imperial side has more than the Republic side, so the other side is worse.

This is a "standard" server.
