1-Perhaps before they removed the blue gear vendors. Currently, there is no pre-50 expertise gear in the game.

2-It shouldn't matter. The PvP design causes people to not have fun and quit. That is bad game design.

Remove enhancements from pvp weapons.

Higher level = more expertise (each level will have different enhancements so need to find the best for you).

It's not as cheap now that the prices went up, but I'm doing this on my alt now and I'm willing to bet I'll have enough before I hit the level I chose (lvl 42 weapon containing lvl 41 enhancement).



@ above absolutely false, there are dozens of +expertise items pre-50. All in the pvp weapon vendor.

And in every match people lose. People don't enjoy losing. Doesn't mean it's a bad system because one side loses and therefore has less fun.

Don't worry, you don't have to gear up via repeatedly wiping in hard modes. You don't have to fail upwards into welfare epics to do them. Have a nice day.

I love these kind of posts. One, the game hasn't been out for very long. You did not go through a grueling, time consuming process so please stop using that drivel. Two, those who have been 50 for a while didn't have to go through the same thing as people that are now just hitting 50. There wasn't a bunch of geared 50's running around then. Also, curb stomping those inferior to you doesn't make you a man, it makes you a bully. A "real man" would face a worthy opponent.

Actually you can pull level 45 expertise mods out of the level 46 weapons. So you can get 150 expertise that I know of... 300 is a mystery to me though.

I called this 2 weeks before they introduced the 50 bracket.

It's funny. In Beta there are 35-49 PvP gear with Expertise on it. They removed those items from the game for some reason.

But yeah, prepare to be owned for a long while because they definitely nerfed the drop rate of gear from the Random Bags of Awesomeness since 1.1.

Not sure what you mean...but yes you gear up in PvE by failing at first. You wipe a couple times, adjust your strategy, and then progress and get your loot. Same thing in PvP. You play, die, adapt, win, gear up. As a matter of fact you even gear up when losing. After an hour or two of straight losses you can buy a Champion Bag.

OK, make that 225 300 (although 25 is only on classes which dual wield and 25 may not be possible - I've not seen moddable bracers yet) :P

Hit 50 at Valor 33, I'm now closing in on Valor 56 and I've gotten exactly 7 champ tokens (4 of which are relics, and 2 head pieces). The gear bag lotto is retarded.

Go to Galactic market. Pick up epic 49 mods and enhancements with stats relevant to your class/spec.

Put those into Orange gear you already should have. Do dailies on Ilum and Belsavis for commendations to buy epic 50 armoring/hilt/barrel.

Go pick up level 50 Matrix Cube trinket with relevant stats. Buy epic 49 implants, ear piece. Congrats, you are now basically in tier 2 gear and is ready for hardmode operations.

That should take you no more then 2 days max.

You could also save up 1000 merc/warzone commedations while leveling + buy 1 champion bag and having a chance at 6 pvp pieces instantly. If you get non you can buy the centurion trinket.
