Yep, because paychecks are totally analogous to an item in a game.

You guys are whining so hard that it makes you look a little derpy right now, might wanna dial it back a bit.

Way to take a humorous analogy and completely ruin it. We've got a negative nancy over here.

I just got another unassembled relic (bringing the total amount to 16) on my alt , which has been 50 for like 3 weeks now and hasn't seen any other champion item so far.

Meanwhile, i see people hitting 50 and being full set the day after.

Hopefully whoever is responsible for this atrocious system will burn in the fiery depths of Hell for eternity.

Make the unassembled pieces "generic" and tradable for anything you want. Problem solved. Really, it is NOT that hard. And to people saying that "then it would be too easy" i say, are you stupid? Now it's just as easy, except that if you're lucky you're geared in a day, if you aren't you never will be.

Dear Players,

Management is hard at work implementing this directive, but employees are becoming distraught as they cannot earn their fanny packs as quickly as they would have hoped. The intent was to have employees work 20 hours on projects, and 20 hours on open work in order to earn one paycheck. Employees were allowed to exchange 3 hours of one type of work and count it as 1 hour of the other type if need be. However, management inadvertently and without explanation removed the option to earn hours from open work, and therefore employees now have to complete 80 hours of project work per week to earn a fanny pack.

The basic concept of the system is not flawed, it's the implementation. If the tokens had a certain chance (say, 33-50%) to be "smartloot" (i.e. a slot you don't already possess) then it'd be bearable.

Still RNG, just not ridiculous numbers of constant repeats.

Rather than be paid at a steady, hourly rate or a fixed salary, at the end of every day, you are given a nice Bioware fanny pack. When you open it, there's a 1 and 10 chance your paycheck is in there. If it's not there, there's 3 food stamps. Once you collect 30 of them, you can trade them in for the same paycheck a gas station attendant makes.

Does this sound like a payroll system that's going to keep you coming back to work?
How about you don't complain about your bonus items? The bag roll system is actually in our favor and I'll explain:

What "progression" means --> move from one tier to another. So, what the Champion Bag is supposed to do is pay you for your Tier 1 Centurion pieces which YOU DO GET at a standard rate (3 per bag). So to your original quote, you would like to pay BW employees their standard pay plus a 1/10 chance to receive a rather nice bonus.

What majority of the people don't understand is why the name implies Champion when it is in fact designed for Centurion. If you want to complain that the bags don't give you enough Cent Coms, or if you want to complain that they give you TOO MUCH CHAMP GEAR --> then you will have a valid argument.

Please don't complain about a system that is tilted in your favor.... this is like Imps complaining about population imbalances (but even they might have issues questing)

EDIT: Most people are obtaining Champion Gear prior to Centurion Gear and still complaining.
