The burst nerfing has already started. I'm doubting Bioware is going to back off the operative nerf completely, as it would be admitting to listening to the whines on the forum by undergeared Sorcs. The likely scenario is they come back with "metrics" (that they already claimed to have 2 days after 1.1) and redo the nerf and boost the damage of other abilities in return for "PvE reasons".

If that doesn't happen, expect any thing that crits for over 4k to get waxed in upcoming patches, since they already committed themselves to it and it would be *clearly* (read: no plausible deniability) hypocritical to do anything else.

Sit back and enjoy the show.

Yet, they are already crying about sorcerer/sage and mercs/comm. Its clearly they don't want to improve on thier own skills and just want something to whine about till Bioware have buffed the class they are playing so they can feel good about themselves and how good they are. But clearly due to the reason they just simply have no skills for pvp.

I have seen all classes break 500k+ dps and all classes have some really good player behind it. To all the nerf criers, maybe you guys should try to improve on yourselves instead of trying to bring others down. I guess its human nature to not admit that.....you suck.

Yeah, makes you die a little inside dosent it.

Nearly all operatives in my guild (excapt fresh alts) have mix battlemaster/champ gear.

I have like 16 k hp on my sniper in mix of battlemaster/champ (could have more but I changed enchansments to + crit/surge instead of native + accuracy thus lowering overall endurance).

Bro, it is the same all the time. If my stun breaker on CD - I get freaking demolished in 3 hits.

No matter what undergeared operative hobos say, it needs to be nerfed.

Operatives require a further nerf to the one already in the wings. It is ezmode.

The problem is I do not see that happening. I've seen this sort of behavior from devs many times in the past. They hastily nerf a class instead of actually sitting down and taking things slow, to make sure the nerf is needed and will not invalidate the class entirely.

By the time they come around to actual balance, many people would have given up, left or rerolled, which is just bad for the game as a whole.

Why can't they just take a moderate, sensible approach for once, and if they really want to fix the problem, why not address the root causes of it?

In a game I played before, there was a lot of QQ about the AOE of one class (H). The devs said they are toning down the AOE of all classes, because it is higher than intended, but they are going to start with that class (H). They destroyed that class' AOE in the following patch.

What happens next patch? They buff the AOE of another class, and give an insane AOE to third class.

you haven't been killed during the knockdown since 1.1 cuz that lowered the knockdown duration. You forget that they get to go invisible and knock you down again, and have other stuns. And this is coming from a marauder, who should be the boss melee class and is constantly overwhelmed by cc. If i have my CC break or i catch the stealthy off guard, it's gg for them. But it's not just the 2.5 sec you spend on your back, it's the 1.5 sec you spend standing up and the 4 sec stun and the 8 sec disable while they heal themselves lol. It's just too funny to see you guys think this will change anything. The ops will get nerfed and will have to learn to rotate their abilities or suffer, the super-high crit & free battlemaster days are coming to an end.

Seeing all the sorcs and snipers qq about operatives OPness makes me chuckle... I mean seriously. Go back to your lightning spam and stun-cover-4k+knockback and leave OPs alone.

At this point, I do not care anymore if it changes anything. I am simply trying to show people that they need to learn to play this game. And that there are so many ways to fight back against Operatives. And while some accounts are true, there are a lot of lies from bad players and false info from under-geared players.

Also that there are other classes out there that are very powerful in their own right, and I find it funny that Operatives get singled out.

The only way for Operatives to truly kill someone is situational, provided they use every single skill they have, all their Consumables, and all their CDs (extra Vanish) with 2 Alpha Strikes, while the target is not shielded or guarded or getting healed or assisted, and the target has his CC-breaker is on CD, and does not react fast enough to counter the Operative after the 3s knockdown is over.

Yet you admit that if you have your CC-breaker ready or you catch them off guard, it is GG for them. But if they catch you off guard, and they blow every single skill they have, it is somehow not ok to kill you.

Do you see the hypocrisy?

I think this.

I saw crits with my scoundrel similar to those numbers in your pics, some a bit higher. I don't use adrenals in pvp... no bio chem stuff period... not stims just whatever group buffs I have.

Meh... just nerf stealth.
