No, hes right. The entire digital deluxe and the two other things you get from collector's edition were totally a rip off.


What reading comprehension?, it didn't state that the holodancer would only work for twenty seconds while the flair gun looked absolutely cheap and pathetic and that the mount would not scale with speed. It being an exclusive mount it should have scaled with the other speeds, at least till 110%.


Get your facts straight before insulting others as if they are dumb and don't understand. Most of the people that got the digital deluxe or collector's edition were totally disappointed with the exclusives and everyone that I have talked to feels the same way as the OP.

well, you would have enjoyed it more had you not rushed through content.. For most it will work fine because they are enjoying the game as a roleplaying game with story and not a zergfest to 50.

Should have researched more, as the thing you mention came as no surprise. Then again I have more pressing matters in game then some fluff items and how long they last.

It's been out over a month. A Sloth with arthritis could have hit 50 by now it's not exactly difficult.

And BioWare never gave you any specifics as to durations, "flashy"-ness or speed scaling. So complaining about something that they never gave you any information about is like complaining because you got a hamburger at a restaurant when you told the waiter: "surprise me".
I bet there are many people who were completely satisfied with the CE and didn't expect anything special.

Your personal opinion doesn't mean you are more correct over my opinion. I did research it more, what's to research?, that they showed the items on the front page and that the items description never went into detail on what they actually did and for how long?.


You can argue with me all day, but it doesn't change the fact that the items given in the digital deluxe and collector's edition were absolute crap. So let's leave it at that. We can agree though that the fluff items are garbage.

Your point of BW never saying anything about the items which made you disappointed when you saw them for yourself, is kinda self defeating. You're absolutely right, they didn't say **** about them, which gives you no reason to complain. That's the world of MMOs, they give you garbage that has no value whatsoever just to make some extra money. It's completely normal. If you want to get a CE that is actually worth the extra money, I would go for SC2, FF13-2, Crysis2 etc. I.e. single player games, since then it doesn't matter.
