Oh I know you're mad, but do you not see the silliness in your OP?

"It's to easy to gear in SWTOR! I hate SWTOR because I can't get the gear I want!"

That's what you did and it's kinda of funny.

Not everyone wants a game so hard, that you have to pay some numb skull game brain nerd to think of ways for me to fight a boss. I want a game I can play casually and still have what the no-job-having-sitting-in-his-mother's-basement-while-spending-his father's-money-wearing-diapers-so-he-doesn't-have-to-get-up-from-his-game-while-all-long-saying-"I've got l33t skillz yo"- guy has.

This had better *not* turn in to another WoW/AoC end content game. If it does, I'm gone/canceling my sub.

I agree that more things in this game should be streamlined (many things).

I however disagree that it is an utter dissapointment.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.

If you don't want to put effort in to get something MMOs are probably not your cup-o-tea. But you do like WoW and it does seem to have tried to limit the amount of work/effort to get things.
I never said I liked WoW, it's just a strong business model for proper success in the genre. YEARS as the top dog (which it still is) with extremely outdated graphics and what some people decide to ticket as "un-innovative features" and "recycled gameplay".

In fact, I wanted SWTOR to be nothing like WoW, but then it decided to do just the opposite.

I have spent a ******** of time trying to gear and I am "good" at the game, and having nothing to show for it. There is virtually no good endgame content in SWTOR and the underlying features are the framework of a mediocre MMO. Other MMOs provide us with fun and innovative features (of which SWTOR has none, and those that you might claim it "has" are superficial and worthless.

Let me stop you right there. You need to do a bit more research. WoW pioneered nothing. They took from other games and yes they even improved on a few things, but they pioneered nothing.
Dont forget to always pick your Nodes .....

I don't think you understand what you are posting....

The OP is all about how WoW did/does it better and now you're saying SWTOR is doing it exactly the same.....

Sort of like Steve Jobs did from his crack research partners and genius prize-winning collaborates?

Steve Jobs died and millions mourned the death of a man that took from other people and essentially gave nothing but shiny boxes and a fruit-logo relative to the technology world.

You are remembered for your ABILITY TO PIONEER, not your actual doing so behind the scenes.

EQ created the monster, FrankenBlizzard gave it life.

I don't give two craps about WoW, how easy or how hard it is. It was a fun ride - at least until end-game where the fact that I could only evolve my character through gear made tedium strike and I'm sure this will happen here too after I see all the class stories - but it's over for me.

I'm playing TOR now, and I'm having fun. That's all that matters. WoW can go on to cure cancer, or crash and burn for all I care.

Does the same and lacks the features that make the game it is parroting popular and successful. I would PROBABLY play a WoW with a Star Wars skin, I am a huge Lucas fan and I love the Star Wars universe.

SWTOR had an extremely long development time and emulated other games in a series of ways, it should have emulated some of the more successful elements that make these games great rather than crafting shoddy features and faulty game mechanics.

So you don't know what the words you are using mean. Gotcha, thanks!
