Whenever I ponder the addition of a feature (one that some MMOs have), somebody is already there to tell me that I "suck" or am IN FACT: A child that came from the World of Warcraft community.

I HAVE played WoW, WoW is a RELATIVELY tough game once you get into the endgame brackets and I don't think getting geared in WoW is "easy". It's developed a hardcore audience, how else could it not have? I think getting geared in WoW is so hard that it has actually driven the development of the largest endgame MMO community in the world and that it has actually given people JOBS and EMPLOYMENT in determining the proper strategies to KILL AN ANIMATED AVATAR (raid boss). People actually make money from strategy development and they do it in the comfort of their own home, making money to make someones game experience easy.

WoW is indeed the pioneer of MMOs, and it does have a childish community at this point (which isn't such a bad thing these days). Getting geared in SWTOR is EASY (IF YOU ARE LUCKY), but it is not streamlined. I have spent a ******** of time trying to gear and I am "good" at the game, and having nothing to show for it. There is virtually no good endgame content in SWTOR and the underlying features are the framework of a mediocre MMO. Other MMOs provide us with fun and innovative features (of which SWTOR has none, and those that you might claim it "has" are superficial and worthless.

Why do people fanboy for BioWare so hard? The game is an extreme disappointment and they will tear funding from it in a few months due to community loss. They obviously won't release consumer data (how many people play) to us, but EA stock has took a massive dip since SWTOR came out and that is a direct source of woe to the developers of SWTOR and is most likely caused by the games lack of success.

They sold a lot? So did LOTRO, Age of Conan, and Warhammer. IN FACT: Warhammer broke some records with its game sales. Where are they? Free to play. I had MUCH more fun playing all three of those games at endgame than I have in SWTOR.
EDIT-
People seem to be reading parts of my post and not the entirety of it. Getting gear in SWTOR is almost all based on probability (which does not reward work or skill), much like gambling. WoW is NOT a favorite of mine, I just think that SWTOR ripped it off a little bit and should've ripped off the better features.

I disagree as well, and find the majority of OP's post to be foolish. This thread should be locked.

I was fully geared in WoW in under one month. I stopped reading after this point,

I think EQ end game >>>>>>> WoW as far as PVE goes. But of course, I enjoy grinding xp and putting in a months worth of effort for one piece of loot. It separates the fake from the real people.

You disagree that the yearning for steamlined features of a massively multiplayer game DOESN'T in fact make you a greedy child?

That my taking an inordinate amount of time to obtain gear through Champion Bags (which is the worst mechanic of all time) and wanting to get actual gear from it also does not make me a child?

That because I want a simple reward for my efforts that I am in fact not a child and that the endgame in ToR is terrible and needs to be reworked or else the community will vanish just like it did in Warhammer?
