Dude, really...

This thread is packed full of people who havent experienced being 50, or experienced rolling a Mercenary after playing a Vanguard.

These "differences" are an illusion. Its just like playing the same class but instead of 3 taunts you get 3 heals.

The real clincher is that you can now go on youtube and watch "Smuggler Story Cutscenes" and see the entire story in 20 minutes.

Its all about doing the same **** to see 5 minutes of my character saying "That sounds good" "I agree with this"

And the endgame raiding is AMAZING, except you get geared in one run and its so easymode its not worth doing again.

According to the site, a lot of them are geared. Are they all gone from WoW ?

And I would think you are in the minority of MMO players. This is what I think is the ***** in the armor here. A MMO based on alt play. I just don't see that capturing a lot of MMO players attention and sub money.

They didnt get geared the first time they downed Deathwing, thus when they have gear they feel like they "sort of" earned it.

Being handed a piece of gear after each boss fight is just rediculous.

Hey guys check out my gear, i ran EV once.

I dont want to be a special snowflake, I want to feel like I did more than faceroll for my characters progression.

Especially when rolling an alt involves 90 percent repeated subquests and a total of 20 minutes of new cut scenes.

Luckily i was smart, and pvped with my first toon. Now MAYBE it will feel fresh with a second.

So delete the gear and run it again. Make it a rule you can keep the gear after 10 runs. Or, do you feel the gear is not special because everyone has it ?

If we are just going to throw out asinine suggestions here whats the point of discussion? Hey I got an idea lets all play with our eyes closed and with one hand. Come on!!!

ya know its possible maybe bioware doesnt want the endgame to be like every other mmo when it comes to getting gear.

Most likely cause they realize about only 10% of mmo players truly dedicate themself to the typical endgame grind.

Currently I am the only 50 in my guild and am waiting for the rest of em to get there to start the endgame and considering what you are saying, I am happy to hear that it doesnt require a constant repetitive grind to get gear.

Every mmo I play i tend to get burnt out on endgame by the time im almost done gearing my main or I actually do gear him. I never want to run my alts through endgame. Sounds to me like I may finally have a chance to do that with alts in this game which works out well considering I want to enjoy every class story.

I also think there may be some additions soon to crafting and changes with the modding system that will change things up a bit.

It is not asinine suggestion. If people feel like they have to "earn" it, then make it that way. Why make others do the same just because you want the sense of "earning" ?

Again, people play game for different reason. Not everyone is here to make a splash in the MMO history.

i'm not sure how but i almost feel like that's racism.

lets get this straight. A starcaft 2 pro player has a minimum of 250-300 APM. now.. few europeans and generally westernpeople have this skill. there is a reason. being rich countries (genralization) few people have time, or the neccesity, to train enough to get to 250 apm. Oh sorry. ACTIONS PER MINUTE. in less fortunate countries where people have to do what they must to live, poor kids are chucked in bunkers and made to type for 10 hours a day. eventually after years, some can do 300 apm.

now the average wow or MMORPG player has none of these. all he has is time.. possibly too much of it. it made more sense when in vanilla WoW pvp was for the really "lifeless" people and only players who shared accounts and could PVP 24/7 (seriosus) could wear the top PVP gear.. but hey only a fool would regret those times and the 15hrs of alterac valley..

no too much time is not too much skill, there is no reason why people without a life should be more succesfull than others at mmorpgs.. yes seriously.
You mean they play StarCraft 2 in Uganda? I've yet to see a professional SC2 player living in Congo...
If I have no free will then how can I be morally culpable, I wonder.
