I don't agree with half of the things he said, seemed like he simply enjoyed playing a Paladin more than a Healing Mercenary. Also seemed like he didn't know the classes very well, or about some of his skills.

However, he did point out the RNG bag issues, and how insane they really are. 50-70 hour grind for a CENTURION lightsaber is insane, especially considering Centurion gear is the lowest tier.

He's a very good Deathmatcher.

There's a monumental difference. I made Glad in S2 as Afflock/H. Paly - no soul link, the hard way - so im a *decent* Deathmatcher. Not as good as this guy, sure, but decent.

I'm far and away ten times the objective based player this guy is, unless that video is not at all representative of his play and he was just trolling to make his video look better.

He was -awful-.

Because this MMO, like every MMO, is incredibly CPU bound. I'd wager you real money that your UBERGPU is sitting idle, starving for info.

Let me guess.. you paired this pimpin video card with a Phenom?

In his defense.. PvP gear has less Endurance than the PvE gear of the same iLevel.

Funny, i ran WoW on Ultra and got 100fps + (before discovering that screen tearing gave me headaches and enabling vsync) on a 5 year old rig that my wife uses now. WoW is a substantially optimized, low-poly engine that breezes along on new hardware. Shocking.

That being said, even WoW is CPU bound. Flying into Org, even after Cata launch, on my rig (Hexacore Westmere i7 @ 3.06Ghz, 12GB FB-DDR3, Radeon 5870) the game would regularly go sub 1fps until 20-30 seconds after i landed.

There's no way for any CPU to handle the predictive pathing o n 300+ objects and keep the GPU from starving.

Re: my Phenom comment above:

Apparently Phenom processors have something called a "TLB Fix" that lags the crap out of certain games. Gotta flash your BIOS to disable it.

THREE of guildmates with "pro gaming rigs" - with Phenoms - had this issue and it was fixed for all three of them by dealing with this.

The game has issues.

Am I still having fun ? Yes.

But the fact that you would disregard the rest of my post and pick out one line to blast shows the reason you are here. Not to be constructive, but the bring down everyone else.

When I played my priest In WoW, I could kite around a few DPS until I ran out of mana. That is exactly how it should be- when I am out of resources I die. In this game, all it takes is one smart geared dps.

I have a tank guard me, because it is the only way to play a healer and not get completely destroyed. The game design is flawed - healers should not have to have a tank with them to be competitive.

Then how do you and thousands of others who state the same crap every time someone brings up the "I die so fast" and your's and everyone elses response is to bring a healer. Well If I am required to bring a healer to contribute by f***ing god you should be required to bring a tank to guard you. So cry me a f****ing river and quit with the platitudes and bumper sticker responses and argue or debate the underlying issue. People like you make me so f****ing mad.

Not to mention, "run out of resources" in this game is nigh impossible. I've seen sorceror healers freecast for 5 solid minutes and never once get close to running out of Force.

There is some truth to it, and there are some things I dont agree with. I think he is right on the spot about healing animations. I healed a lot in the other MMO, and a huge part of the fun was the animations. In SWTOR you dont get any fun factor from animations.
But its okay, I just dont play a healer. Other than that I really enjoy pvp.
