There is a bigger point here. For all the republic guys on servers with 2 or 3 to 1 population densities favoring the imps all you are doing is helping them get to battlemaster faster and get geared out quicker so that when you go to Wz's you face even tougher odds of getting a win there.

This was happening on Kaas City. All the sudden after KT started all these new imp battlemasters popped up.....Didn't work that way on the republic side. So your laziness and complicity are making the imbalance even worse.

If you don't like it--then don't do it. You do not NEED to complete the pvp dailies. You do not NEED to complete the pvp weeklies.

You may WANT to, but you do not NEED to. Wants != Needs.

Trading is wrong. The system might be broken, but that does not change the fact that you are still taking the "spirit" of the system and abusing it.
The current Illum system as it stands is wrong... If Bioware had spent more than 10 minutes designing it, maybe people would not feel the need to trade.

Working as intended please move along. Instead of just giving your the gear you want, well we just gave you a way to get it really really fast and still you complain.

Have a very nice day!

The system "being wrong" is not a justification for trading. When you have groups of 40-50 people on both sides just standing in a corner killing each other--you're doing it wrong.

Insisting that trading somehow is "totally not exploiting" because "BioWare's system sucks" is ridiculous. If these people would actually go and PLAY THE GAME--all of a sudden, things become radically different.

There's a reason these groups have to do it on the downlow though. They know that they're doing something wrong, and they don't want to be caught doing it. They don't want their precious titles removed.

Personally, I'd change all the Battlemaster titles from these individuals to "Coward" and brand them for life.

And vice versa. I'm stuck playing Huttball 7/8 PvP queues. With all these Republic players sitting in Illum kill-trading for PvP gear, how is this happening?

Answer: They're not queuing. They're not going to. They just want the rewards of PvP without the effort.

While I understand trading kills is "wrong", what's the right way to do it? Let's just be honest. Ilum needs a total re-design. It just doesn't work for what they want.
And it won't until:
A: Fix the lag issues
B: Find a way to balance populations
C: ^ or add a bolster to the side that is out numbered
D: Make it so that the valor gains on Ilum are not so massive. So that people can't just jump a few levels in a few hours. (With the trading that is going on this is rather common)
E: Take out this failed attempt at "open world pvp" and make it a War Zone
Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule. ~Friedrich Nietzsche

People are trying to make the most out of a bad situation... One daily shouldn't take 5-6 hours to complete because of a poorly designed system.

On my server, we're outnumbered 3 to 1, and don't trade(With the exception of 2-3 people in the very early AM)... And playing the game nets the repub 2 kills an hour as they get face stomped... And the Imps sitting at center farming slow spawning Arms forever cause no republic players want to get farmed. I say bravo to those trading, maybe Bioware will take more notice of how bad their PVP designs are, if everyone avoids them.

I say that those trading need Valor titles, and rewards, removed.

Simply because "the PvP design is bad" does not excuse it. It's trying to justify actions you KNOW ARE WRONG.

You want solutions? I've presented a few here. NPCs dropping arms, removal of Valor gains from kills near bases, etc. Others have presented ideas probably more thought out than mine.

But quite frankly, my real solution is just to punish those engaging in this behavior. The justification of "We're making the best of a bad situation" is utter bullcrap, and those behaving this way know it is.

You do realize that morality is entirely based on perceptions, and just because you nerd rage about it, doesn't mean your perception is the right one.
