Well, companions are really more of a soloing/small group mechanism, and I can't imagine a situation out questing in the open world where a it gets so hairy that you have to pull out all the emergency stops to keep the 4 of you (2 players, 2 companions) alive. And of course are not allowed in Operations at all.

Yes pls, We were leveling to 50 with my firend and we have done all FPs only with companions. How I wish i could heal them through the raid frames.

Yes, we need this. If they are using a slow that is normally used for a party member, they should be in the party/operation frame! I don't want to have to shift F2 or whichever slot the companion is in to heal them.

For all the other breaking issues, this is not needed at all. Once you get to 50 and start raiding/pvping, you won't be using your companion much anymore.
