People who are disappointed with this game are completely justified. Apologists need to understand this.
You have no clue what you are talking about.

1st of all, content costs money. Play the game awhile, content will roll out as you pay for it's development through subscriptions and buy expansions.

Bugs take time to work out. Nobody can afford to fix them all before release. Don't care about Rift, that game is ultra meh. Systems and extra tools have to be worked in slowly and tested. Which ones make it in 1st depends on feedback and ability of the developers or software.

I know you think a developer can roll out a game in 5-6 years with everything WoW had after all extra time & money they were given to implement them but... you have no clue what you are talking about.
Looking for a good woman. Able to clean, cook, sew, catch bait, and clean fish. Must have boat and motor.
((Please send picture of boat and motor))

I realize this is a difficult concept but I would actually like this game to improve, that's never going to happen if people accept the crap they're handed.

And who said I've paid a cent past the box price?

This could be an awsome game, but they need to take a hand from trion and actually start fixeing problems regularly, patches every week is the ticket here. And they need to take what works from wow.

If they don't this'll become aion 2. It'll never die but it wont be anywhere near popular either and it certainly wont be earning this mmo'ers money.

Once again, the reasons why it is worse is irrelevant. TOR has measurable less content and features than WoW.

Let's turn the tables around: let's say another MMO comes out with less features and less content than TOR. The reason it doesn't have all that is because its budget was less than that of TOR's. Would you count that as a point in the new MMO's favor?

Really the only feature TOR has that WoW lacks is voice acting.
oh except for companions
... and space battles
also the pvp bracketing system which makes WAYYY more sense than wows did (dont bother pvping before lvl 85 unless your at lvl *9)
also a plot

things you think tor took from wow but has actually existed FOREVER:

an in game economy (eve online)
"raids" (UO, City of Heroes, City of Villans)
standard classes "tank, healer, dmg" (Dungeons and Dragons)
basic controls such as W for walk (every mmo ever made before and after WoW)

This is an MMORPG model that is basically used by every MMORPG. There are variation but at the end of the day the model is the same. This is a genre just like FPS. Every FPS has guns or variation of a gun. Every FPS has ammo or variation of ammo. This is a genre. If you are playing a MMORPG. If you do not want to play something that follows MMORPG model then you do not want to play MMORPG.

wow has pet classes
wow has vehicle battles that allow free roaming so its actually better than the space battles
tor's pvp system is so much better people already want it broken up like wows...

Hello,

We appreciate you taking the time to express your thoughts and concerns, but will be closing this thread, as there is little room for constructive discussion. We encourage you to make threads about specific game-related topics if you like and wish you the best.

Thanks!
