I reckon most people are just re-rolling Empire because Republic is so boring.
Space, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space...

I see lots still login. However I see more people jumping around between our Empire and our Republic guilds.

Everyone I talk to in our guild still is having fun. otherwise, why would they be there. I do see some big breaks coming up soon for quite a few. When Mass Effect 3 releases it will quiet down some till folks finish the game. But they will probably come back.

I can't speak for games like GW2. Everyone has different tastes. Personally I didn't care for GW1.

I don't think Bioware was ready for the MMO community. I feel like the community has beaten Bioware into bloody submission.
Nothing to do with the community, more like level 50s feeling they have nothing to do.

Alternate Advancement now!! (take a look at EQ if you haven't seen it).

I was a bit bored while cooking, so I did some /who.
Basically a levelrange (1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-49, 50). If it showed 100 people (the max of the who?) I split it up for classes (50 scoundrel, 50 gunslinger, 50 guardian, ....).

I know the system is not perfect since some people could relog from their lv 10 to their lv 50 and would be counted twice. And also some people log out and still count while new people log in. But I think it can be seen as a good tendence how many people are on each side.

So Friday 27th 11pm - 11.20pm (as I said I was cooking in between^^) for Force Harvester (German PVE):
1022 Republics (298 at 50), 1372 Imps (413 at 50). Only 100+ result was 50 Sith Sorcerer so it should be ok.
So about 2400 players online at the same time.
According to the server list my serverload is: Standard.

Draw you own conclusions from those numbers.

I was stuck on a low population server on WoW and it really sucked. I watched the server list to see which ones were heavy or full for longer and The Harbinger seems to be the heaviest populated server there is. I've been playing on it and there are definitely a lot of people on it but pretty much every other server has less people than Harbinger now.

No. Stop being insecure and wanting people to confirm to you that it is ok for you to leave if you do not like it.

Just leave and stop QQ:ing.

i think many didnt renew subscription or just went off another server/rerolled sith...

but on my server we have 30 ppl on fleet in evenings, only noobs with brains turned off in warzones, and theres no grouping on the level planets at all.

in my guild we were often about 10 ppl active forming premades, and chatting etc. now at any given time i log on hteres. the odd 2 pll online, not chatting, just leveling a alt or doing a few daylies..

swtor has NO depth and will dry out soon TM

in swtor you go from lvl 1 over 50 to bittervet within a month or 2...

reasons?
-as i sayd. lack of depth
-bugs. i personally found 3 annoying bugs that i filed a lenghy bugreport ticket about. i got 3 times the same response from the answer bot with ticket closed. i relly feel like i get goot customer support. rofl!
-endless repeating missions in the story. the same 4 things: go there, clear that amount of npc, click on this or that blue flashing thingies, return to quest giver. boah is that boring? no matter in what string of quests you are. you gonna disable some shields, hack into terminals, destroying some cache of tings... hoping for a smart bright change in storyline is like hoping that there comes one episode of startrek without seeing the crew recalibrating tricorders/deflectors to solve the problem

face it. swtor imitating other games - mostly WoW - and therefor gets compared to it.
resulting in few sectors of gameplay/design whare swtor shines to MANY sectors where swtor is failing epicly.

im on 2nd month of subscription now and will level my vanguard to 50 and play some healer type together with a friend for when hes on but my playtime is more then half back to eve online already and if not some things bring a lot of fun into swtor i wone renew sub next month and the game will be 1/1000000 closer to death
