Nope.

But some people feel like beating a dead horse on a daily basis.

Sadly I love the game, but it is not "some people" that are beating a dead horse. Our guild was the biggest, the first to do EV on our server. Now, we have many 50s not logging at all for days, and when they do it is for couple of minutes.

I calculated we have 87 ppl in our guild, down from 120 in 7 days (we /kicked everyone who did not log for 14 days) and on next week we will be down to 72 ( I am guessing many alts). Of those 72 we have 12-13 ACTIVE lvl 50s and maybe 10 non-active lvl 50.

The population is going down, like it or not, see it or not, something needs to be done to stop the bleeding.

that sucks man. i too have noticed this. my guild had at peak over 120, with 30-40 on during prime times. now its down to maybe 12 prime times, and the 50's are afk most of the time that theyre on tryin to get motivated to do something...
Is this where I put the signature? Well I want to show everyone I have the collector's edition and seem like a really cool guy. Will bold type and color text help say that?

I don't think it's anywhere near dead. I'm guessing it will fare better than other MMOs in relation to WoW, but I'll have to give at another 4-5 months before I can say whether it's an actual success. The jury is out right now.

I don't think Bioware was ready for the MMO community. I feel like the community has beaten Bioware into bloody submission.

Nope, the game does not feel dead to me either. I see a lot of people running around still, and most players on Empire hanging around in the Imperial Fleet Cantina.

I would not say the game is dead but.... i believe the server i am on is dead. Hardly anybody left on it since 1.1 update, no pvp for lvl 50's just not enough. So on the server i am on everyone talks about switching to a high population server and making a new alt.

My server is buzzing, so no, not dead.
Space, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space...

I'm finding it harder and harder to find people to group with. I have a backlog of Heroics because there's hardly ever three other people to play with. It would be fine if Bioware buffed our companions during the Heroics at least so it would be semi fun. As soon as I got to Balmorra, it felt like a freaking ghost town. I would have to start a mission and spam LFG messages while doing the mission.

I thought I could just level the hell up a few levels and then run the Heroic 4's with another player and two companions. Not possible. We died multiple times and the damn boss was impossible to beat. The boss was a level 35 Champ and I had a lvl 40 toon with healer companion and my party had a lvl 38 player with a dps companion. We died quickly.

If our companions weren't so nerfed (Qyzen is doomed to burn in hell by the Scorekeeper due to the amount of times he's been owned), it wouldn't feel like such a chore. I swear, it's not like I'm asking for a dungeon-finder.
