And kath hound was NOT great pop wise when I stopped playing empire side, I doubt it's gotten better. Anyone who thinks the game's population is healthy must not have a proper frame of reference, IE games that actually have had lots of people running around making the world seem alive.
It also felt weird playing a new MMO without having any contention for quest objectives either.

And I think I killed a total of 6 imps from 1-47 and I attacked every imp equal level I ran across.

The funny part is, I saw someone say this in General on The Harbinger earlier today... One of the busiest servers. And at the time the server was Full.

You guys get your material from the same playbook?
Pro-Addon, but also Pro-regulation. Working to keep addons that do more harm than good out of the game.

This simply isn't true. Between my friends and myself, we have exactly one level 50 and the rest are alts that we are bringing up together. We're taking our time, having fun. Of course at some point one or all of us will become bored of the game and we'll take a break...this can be said of any MMO....or any game for that matter.

It's been said on other forums that less than 1% of the player base even enters the forums(for instance, I'm the only one of my group of friends that even bother to come here).

You are in the vocal minority. Don't speak for the rest of us.

Day 8 after reaching 50 on my main the game felt vibrant and alive.
Day 15 after reaching Champion Valor rank 50 game felt wide open and ready for me to to conquer.
Day 20 Bored to tears, starting to be very difficult to get my friends to login, games starting to tarnish in my eyes.
Day 25 On level 22 of my 3rd alt and my space bars taking a beating, asking myself "Is this all there is"?
Day 27 1st full day I didn't login once. Games dead, haven't had one of my guildies login, everyones playing LOL and WoW.
Day 30 unsubbed along with approximately 55 other people in my guild. Only stragglers left are the ones that got duped into time cards and the like.

SWTOR Flatline.

Only reason I resubbed was to get to lvl 50 and finish story.

It's done now, therefore I unsubbed. Just like a whole bunch of people I know.

Enjoy your single player RPG Bioware, people with a clue are not going to pay 15$/month for a couple flashpoints, dailies and 3 warzones in a failed MMO system with a bunch of instances, never meeting anyone.

Most people learned from WoW how meaningless all of those are in small quantity.

Honestly, I love this game. I was not a WoW fan, and I was never much for MMO's. But iv spent countless hours playing this and I havent wanted to unsubscribe yet. I do get angry about Hutt-ball, Collectors edition vendors, and how overpowered the sith are in PvP, but I know bioware will fix it.
Collector's Edition Vendors have a couple customizations for your first companion, other random garbage, and 1 exclusive set of empty orange armor. You can take that one off your list.

Nope, the initial rush is over, but that is normal. Now it just feels normal.

This is one of those things people are never satisfied with. Performance problems? OMG Servers are too full!! No one to PuG with? OMG Servers are too empty!!

To me they are about right. In a few months I expect a lot of folks playing their 50s will make it seem overcrowded.

Plus, they just started mainstream advertising, so the numbers will grow smoothly.

empress tota is dead for 50's, WTB server transfers...literally I would pay to have my 50 moved to a high pop server.
