Nerf Ops really?

I fight so many time other operative.
In one turret at aderaan.

I am be killed and i have killed other operative and smugglers.
I am underdressed... and i NEVER see on me even from a champion/battlemaster operative 10k of opener, and after the damm 50 braket and buff stack fix i never see more than 6k from people well dressed.

Rotfl usually to kill an operative i shoot them out of stealth (2 well point spent in detect passive) and dot them (i burn they stealth as the mine, but i get out the opener option), and i start to fight usually.

I don't undestand why other classes whine so loud... usually in every spec i run i can be killed by tracer spam (is difficult stun interrupt someone is more distant than 10mt/melee range) and snared to death by inquisitors... but someone of us operative has whined of this?

The smuggler ac scoundrel, is the less played, the more nerfed and the more difficult class to play, but is the more loved by bioware when is time to play "Nerf it!" Roll a scoundrel, become a nerfball.

He's got his facts straight if maybe a small problem with terminology. By saying stunlock, he's referring to the fact that you are stunned the whole time you are being attacked, not that you were the victim of multiple stuns. I know 'stunlock' usually refers to multiple stuns being used but in this case he just means 'unable to fight back' and that is totally true if your CC breaker is down.

Nah, he means the actual stunlocking BS. But thats beside the point here cause u r wrong aswell. A geared 50 maybe could kill an ungeared sub 50 opponent but if u meant anything else u are BS:ing to

well 30% hp isnt much to start counter with, but i dont have problems with op/sco anymore though.
It was annoying in start but adepted and spam stealth detect+save my cc for the pop up and its really not an issue anymore.

Why are you so dense?

It's not the overall damage done in one WZ, its the fact you can open up on someone and they are pretty much powerless to do anything about it.

Alot of sorc/sage damage is done through AoE, which would cause a lot of damage to be done over a lot of targets, not on a single target.

The more as I play pvp on my operative at level 63 valor in 4 battlemaster pieces, the more I realize how unnecessary this nerf is.

I demolish ungeared people, however classes that are equal to me, even with my opener its good solid fight.. I die sometimes, sometimes I don't. Most times we are jammed up and whomever has less "friends" dies.

Between that and the fact that I can't push, pull, jump, sprint in combat... I realize that things are fairly balanced. Is it frustrating to be knocked down and beat on.. yep. But thats all we have at the moment, and if you have good gear, and a jump, push, bubble, sprint, stun, range, root... you have a good shot.

I was on the, tweak us but this is over the top band wagon... this last week as other people have caught up to me in gear, I realize that this nerf is stupid at best.

I also fear that in a month, bioware is going to announce that the found a "issue" with how defense / armour is calculated and they will be fixing it.. thereby nerfing damage even more.

Fix the bugs first, let things settle in... then nerf. Too much, too soon, with too little grasp of what pvp is like.

Our tree is all about critical and critical damage. ALL. (this is the way bw has build the tree, no kite, no gap closer apart, no survival skill, only damage)
If we can't kill start the kiting time, and in kite and survive we sucks a lot, our survival depend on restealth (cd 2min) and kill fast.

And you ask why we are so upset?

BW aren't taking away all your damage, they are just toning it down slightly because it was TOO effective.

Stealth + Alpha 1st strike abilities is overpowered. NO stealth class should ever be able to have the ability to alpha strike for 70% of a players health FROM stealth.

If OPs wanna argue they need a boost to PvE attacks, fine. I really don't care if Bioware gives you a 3000% boost to PvE skills - it's the PvP alpha+stealth attacks that bother me.

I believe all that was needed would have been a debuff once you come OUT of stealth - like a 6-8 sec, 20% less damage debuff when you pop out of stealth - but a change IS/WAS needed!

My problem isn't with the damage - it's with the damage PLUS stealth.

It' was effective becouse is all we have effective?
Defence? dodge work only some types of damage.
Shield absorb near nothing.
O we vanishf (2 min cooldown) or we have only medium armor, who haven't attacks who ignore/reduce armor in this game?

So tell my why reduce this? becouse we can be killed easy becouse we can't kill someone?
