Dark side/light side points cap

gosh darnit! I've done a few lightside diplomacy quests and just learned that I cannot ever get Dark V. What the **** BW? I want to be Dark V. Remove the cap!

EDIT: Apparently I need to read more than the first post. Forgive my anger, BW. Though, I'm still not happy about the state of PvP.

You tellin' me that my Inquisitor could have boned Rylee twice this whole time?! fffffffffff-

um, the level V end game relics from the vendor are meh. You get better from PVP and PVE with little to no effort with out relying on alignment. I think there should be better rewards for how deep you go.

Additionally though there needs to be a neutral option, perhaps even having access to a cross faction trade system... that would be cool.

I didn't read the whole thread but you can get to full dark/light V even if you choose an opposite response hear and there.

For example, if you hit 9600 dark and 400 light, every dark response after that will just add points to your dark and take it from the light. Meaning, if you respond someway that gives you 100 dark points your alignment will change to 9700 dark and 300 light.

Once when I was playing my IA my daughter grabbed the mouse, she wanted my attention, and it clicked the wrong response. Now I have all ds points except for 50 ls points and you are telling me that means I can NEVER achieve full DS???

That is so insane it is ridiculous!

So you're saying that once your number of dark/light points reaches 10k it starts deducting any further points from the other side of the morality bar. (whereas normally it just adds the new points to the appropriate side and does not affect the opposite side at all)

edit: nevermind...I understand the system and you can actually be whatever alignment you want even after going fully dark/light...it just takes a lot of work to reverse the decisions.

OP, you are making unfounded claims without actually doing any investigation (or forum searching)

Although the LS/DS points are capped at 10000, you can still get one side to the max even if you choose the opposite choices.

Anyone who has reached LS/DS max can probably tell you that if you get 10000LS points and 10 DS points (making a total of 9990 LS) that the next LS point award you get drops your DS points to 0 (making a total of 10000 and making you lvl 5 LS).

You can ALWAYS reach max LS/DS points no matter what you chose.

Personal Example: I have Diplomacy and am at 10000 LS points. Every time I send my Companions on a mission that is DS, I lose my "The Pure" title as I have dropped from LS 5 to LS 4. Every time after that I get more LS points to offset that, my DS points are 0 and I get the title "The Pure" again. This has been happening for almost a week now for me.

OP, Please stop making up claims that are not true and trying to scare people.

You could but it won't be easy. Flashpoints always have social options to get dark and light side points. You could actually switch sides fully but it would take doing a lot of flashpoints or picking up diplomacy and doing alot of missions.

You don't get DS/LS points in HM's. Try running BT on normal, 200 points per run.

OP is wrong, you can still cap DS/LS even if you chose an opposite choice along the way.
