That really can't be a good sign.
that's really because they're all essentially the same game. you're just burned out on mmo's and in denial.

Week of release + holiday = cluster ****. Think of a mad rush at a bargain store on Black Friday. Think of all the empty freeways and roads. Everyone is at home. They're playing games.

Normal Work week + No time off = less load. Think how packed freeways are in the mornings and the evenings; those same people aren't playing games.

Please understand the changing conditions. Conditions have changed, but that doesn't mean players have quit! I'm at work as I type this, not playing the game. I want to; I can't.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Playing Since 12-13-2011

I would argue that people that think 40 people in the Imperial Fleet during East Coast primetime on a East Coast server is a sign of a healthy game are the ones in denial.

Or running quests/PvP, etc on the 'end game' planets for a week and at best being able to count on one hand the number of other players you see or run into the entire week ....

Don't get me wrong......I like the game... but I would be lying to myself if I did not acknowledge that something is definitely wrong with regards to population and social aspect.....which are very important aspects of any successful MMO.

Not at all. In my guild I have had only one person quit and it was not for any other reason except for college which we highly respect. We are alive and thriving. Bugs are getting fixed and personally feel very good about the foundation for this game.

Not to me. The Shadowlands server is always busy....and I am talking the Republic side. Last night when I logged off there were 160ish people in the republic fleet alone and over 100 guildies live in game.

Anyone feel the same, how does it look and feel to you?
Unfortunately it is the Republic side. If you were to roll Imperial then you would see things are pretty crowded.

It can feel that way on some servers as Republic. Main reason I rerolled Imperial. Problem is I think there are more than a few doing the same thing.

Did I write in this thread yet?

Oh well. I like my low population server. Less people = less toolbags. It's a win win situation for me.

It was mentioned during development that all of the instanced content (ships, FPs, WZs) would make the game world feel dead.

It's why games like WoW never created 'housing'.

Housing takes players out of the world they share and hides them away in their own private little instances where they never need to leave.
An enemy on your six should stay on your six, or at least try too.
