Raid group question

Our first run was great as we had the stars align and we had the right set up and correct amount of 50's on all at once. But fast forward a week and we're about to do this again, but we've gotten some 4-5 new 50's ready to raid as well. So does anyone with a little more experience with the ops, has advice for what to do with a conundrum of too many players and too few slots? Or will we just have to have some people screwed with only 1 shot at one raid or the other, and some other players getting to do each ops, getting twice as much loot?

Having too many players online is always an issue, but it's nice to have a buffer in case some people can't make it.

What I do is.. If you are online 15 minutes before raid start, you get an invite. First come first served with the exception of REQUIRED classes (tank and healers).

You could also do a sign up system on a forum...

If you still end up with extra people being on early, it's up to guild officers/leadership to fairly spread the love in regards to invites.

The 4 new 50s can perhaps do level 50 flashpoints? They could get a few pieces of gear that way. Although most of the gear isn't that great - there's a few purples that make it worth while.
