fact is people like you buy a game and if the game isn't exactly like they want, they start shouting and crying on forums hoping that the devs change the game to be like they want.

luckily, most TOR subscribers aren't basement dwellers or ADHD wowkiddies, that's why the game keeps on growing despite all the attempts to make it look like it's losing subs
Sorry, but I'm 46 years old, have a full time job, am a father of 5, and a 12+ year player of mmos. So sorry, no "basementdweller here, or wowkiddie either.

I obviously don't need to have everything I want in a mmo to subscribe to it, since I re-upped my subscription to SWTOR. I will advocate a feature that I don't particularly like if I feel it will help a game retain subscriptions. Addons is a good example of that. I don't really like them, and I've been doing ok so far as a healer without them (mind you still haven't done any operations), but I understand that they have become a standard in modern mmos, and now most mmo gamers expect a mmo to either have UI options out the yin yang, or to have Addons allowed.

Being a Father, I also understand that closing your eyes tight and plugging your ears, and yelling at everyone trying to talk sense to you doesn't work, soo my advice to you?

Take a chill pill there random "insult everyone that doesn't agree with me" person.

I play Republic on Darth Bandon and Fleet population during peak has increased by about 20%
(from 90-100 to 120-130) since launch. I was also messing around on some of the planets (cleaning up the quests that I can;t delete.....) and was surprised at how populated Tatooine and Nar Shadda (50 -60) were as well. Considering we are also vastly outnumbered by Imps, I'd say my server pop is growing.

i cancel my sub because i not happy with bioware handle of 1.1 valor bs, sorry no roll back at all. half of the empire player base on my server are rolling battle master where republic have maybe 25-30 player at that rank 60, vs 3000+ with battle master gear.

Unlike the rest of life, here you have a choice.
Yeah, I enjoyed the Macro from another game that let you swap between pre-set outfits. In case you wanted an outfit that was for combat, and one that looked cool when just hanging around.

Clearly, I suffer from "hardcore, pro player" syndrome.

Or maybe you just spout off overgeneralized statements.
Ho! Ha ha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!

on my server on WoW, (US-Eredar), widely considered as ''dead'', there is around 150-200 people in SW (underdog faction) at peak hours

The most I have seen in TOR is 30 people on my server in Fleet.

Do you realize this ? SW ''filled'' servers have less people than Wow medium servers.

OP - When does your sub run out so you'll go away and leave those who enjoy the game alone?

BTW, this is coming from someone who wanted to switch to TOR after MOP. (Not that I hate Pandas, just to try something new).

Wanting TOR to succeed is legit. I want TOR to succeed. But don't lie.

Yes, but unlike WOW, there are a lot of people leveling on different planets, doing dungeons, PVPing, etc........

In WOW, the ENTIRE populations in the game are in SW or Org. You go anywhere else, its empty. Heck, when I leveled from 1-80 (before hitting the Cata areas) I didn't see 1 other toon out questing.

On space slug (my server here), I would say there are MORE people after this first month. We hit 220 on the imperial fleet yesterday (the numbers are usually in the 190 range).

i think Jedi Convenant is actually rising in population, the last 2 nights there have been alot of people on every planet. I had to stop doing some quests because there were too many people doing th same quests. Thats the first time thats happend to me.

I whoed my entire server. There are less than 150 poeople on at peak times

This is a game-killing issue.

1)I can't do stuff cross server.
2)I can't transfer.
3)The freshness of the story will be VERY gone if I need to reroll a SW.
