gosh.. not this again. You either like it or don't. Most people who play this game do so because it entertains them for now, some write some stuff because they want it to become better/implement things they desire, others just quit because.. well.. this just isn't the game for them. I personally find Rift a great game for example, I loved it, I quit it for SWTOR though, because Rift lost many subscribers and guilds fell apart one after another, still the best programming I've ever seen for such a huge scale game, just sucks playing alone.

I've also played through ME2 about 15 times or so, Idk, still never bothered to get DA2 although they are pretty similiar actually... just got hooked on the one and didn't care for the other.

I wouldn't bother with DA2, it is absolutely terrible. I loved ME2 as well and I don't mind them "dumbing down" mechanics... DA2 is just bad, no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

It also lines out the same reasons I and several of my friends are done with the game already after this month. We were going to try to wait it out, but we just can't, it's not fun. We decided we might try back again in a year when the game might be ready for release.
Trolling is NOT the same as thoughtfully disagreeing.

So, am I supposed to feel bad that I'm actually enjoying the game?
"Never touch a Kel Dor's sammich."
"We're on a message board together. I'm already inclined to think you're a schmuck."

Its a wonderful MMORPG and my whole family enjoys playing it, From Old Dad (me) to the youngest teenage child.
Fact is that most wow ... 'players' won't like TOR because they are looking for a game where the ycan login, run the LFD tool, run an instance and log off without having to talk to anyone or think. I noticed that most TOR players are either new to MMOs (sometimes to PC gaming), in their 30s or more and tend to login for 2-3 hours at primetime but then logoff before midnight, probably because the yhave families and work in the morning. That's why, probably, TOR is havign such a success but many "PRO Gamers (LOL)" aren't satisfied.

It's not TOR fault they are brain damaged

Good post OP, agree 100%. All the things you mentioned plus a few more (dead world, no swimmable water, literally nothing to do at endgame after being 50 for 1-2 weeks, laughable character creation etc), are the reason that the vast majority of the people I know stopped playing this game soon as the free month was over. And before anyone asks why I'm still here, it's because I was forced to buy a gamecard to play the free month since I don't use credit cards.

As for the people whining about your final recommendation to not buy this game, it's a repost of an Amazon review fs, the recommendation to buy the game or not is the whole point of writing it. And for what it's worth it's a good recommendation. I thoroughly regret buying it myself too.

Ok, ME2 was great story-wise (not a big FPS person, so..), DA2 on the other hand had great combat, but you couldn't change the story ONE INCH! That is kinda the worst part about it.

Oh and you're in the same area / going into the same caves some 50 times.

Good post OP
