Yes please. I would so love that. But since that one does not exist yet I am quite happy with SWTOR. One can always hope that they will add more sandboxiness in the future...

No, we want a new game that isn't just WoW with fewer features and a Star Wars theme. (No, for the record, I don't care about the voice acting, which is useless after 50 anyway, and repetitive in ops/flashpoints)

If you have MMO-experience and are still amazed by this game (and I'm not speaking about artwork, that is well made Star Wars), then I have a suggestion to you concerning about one particular bridge in London.
Actually I came from other MMO's, and I am glad that BW isn't cloning other games because you know what? I'm tired of those other games and left them for a reason.

I would love a fps mmo. Either something like borderlands or skyrim with heaps of customisable options and diverse crafting and gameplay. Heaps of stats.Non faceroll...

Let skill finally be a factor of mmos rather then just spamming buttons . Or the person with better gear wins the day. Stuff that. Bring on the first person where u can run , hide, roll w/e. Then we shall see who the real gamers are...

I think we would have been happy if this game had simply lived up to the hype they created. They lied to us, plain and simple but that's what marketing people do, they lie and us suckers fall for it every time.

Your post exemplifies what the OP is talking about. If you browse the forums you will see that there are tons of people crying for SWTOR to be even more like WoW than it is, while on the other hand there are tons of people wishing it were like pre-NGE SWG.

Or some other favourite game, but better.

The thing is, all the complaints are complaints, but they're not all complaints for the same reason - in fact, sometimes (as above) they're totally contradictory.

Which goes to show, you just can't please everybody, all you can do is either go for a niche market or compromise to the LCD.

i can bet 100 bucks that you will be disappointed with it. problem is not with what you want, but with your "wanting" mechanism, if you excuse me.

OP, while i admire your post, i think its even worse.

truth is, people do not know what they want. they want something in their imagination, not something real. reality always differs from it, because its way bigger and has more details. i think Steve Jobs (whom i do not praise or value as a genius, just in case) said once - ask a consumer what he wants, bring it to him in 30 days (or something) only to realize he wants something new.

everyone wants something to match his imagination. in time, they adapt to reality but still being unhappy and irritated. few ones try to accept reality as it is, using their imagination to make it even better. firstly, these people are more happy because they do not struggle with their feelings that much, second, these people are more creative.

to be honest, those people are who usually make games first type of people do play
or write music, or books, or make films we pray upon for 30 years. Just think of it - Lucas is leaving SW because FANS ARE UNHAPPY!!! can you feel what i feel? This man GIFTED us all with an amazing story we love and adore. and yet a lot of us are UNHAPPY with it so much they put a pressure on the creator so he just - screw you guys i am out of here.

ridiculous but its the truth, the reality.
