I'd love to see that bet come true, but high res textures aren't implemented yet (i.e. enabled). I think the game looks pretty good on my machine as well, it's certainly not hurting my enjoyment. But it will be only better when they do finally figure out how to get high res textures on the character models and armor without crashing the client.
