The textures are muddy and horrible, the overall environments are super-simplistic (sorry!) wow-like textures, bland lighting, terrible terrible shadows (fine in some places, pixelated and blocky in others), no HDR (bloom lol?) Anyone even notice bloom does nothing when its on except drop your frames? I just don't get it. Even on absolute max with AA and all settings on high this game looks worse than GW1 and that came out....how many years ago? Is there any way to make this game visually appealing? Tweaks, workarounds, secret amazing settings or something? EDIT/UPDATE: Through this thread I found one cool tweak: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7RqU_Isw28 This shows that with ATI / NVIDIA (inspector.exe) you can download software to change your LOD to -2.5 that will greatly increase the look for outside terrain and so on. You can also force higher settings to override the mediocre ones in-game. It really does piss me off that I have to go to extremes just to change settings that should be IN THE GAME already...

Other than textures being low on purpose, the graphics are designed to allow the most people play. That means its not going to be a Crysis 2 clone.

The graphics behind it however, are actually quite powerful all things considered.

Well, from what I have seen so far I think the crysis engine might support more chars on screen at once than this one seems to....

There is no way. The devs didn't they could scale performance for different quality of computers.

Your missing a few words so I don't understand what you are saying... And for those that are complaining, they could have had much more graphics options... Very low, Low, Medium, High, Very High, Ultimate ... or something along those lines... Ofc not everyone is going to have amazing PC's and those w/ crap PC's that people have used for running WoW is a little.. normal... but some people have high end PC's and enjoy getting their money out of it.

They could've done a few quick fixes to the engine to make the game look better, but they didn't because they already made their money on the game and STOP BEING A TROLL BAN BAN BAN GAME IS FLAWLESS
