I've downloaded the client after many many hours and my new computer is coming on the 16th and I was wondering if swtor would run from a flash drive if I just copied it from here to there. Would I be able to run it on the new computer from the flash drive or would I need to copy it in to program files and reinstall or something? Anyone know?

Yeah maybe if you have a 24 GB flash drive or something I guess it would be possible, however it would be VERY slow loading things.

When the new computer comes, just download SWTOR_setup.exe and run it (to get the installer process done with) but do not log in and patch. Then copy your SWTOR directory from the one machine to the other. Et voila, instant installation.

if you play from a flash drive you will have long load times unless both the flash drive and port are USB 3.0
