Best day yet today..a couple of patches and pvp was actually exciting...dreading hitting 50 though ..may stick to pvp with U50s

WoW for it's time was it, SWTOR can be it given the time and effort. It's not a WoW clone at all, end game is not where it's at, it's the journey that is the fun part, as it should be imop.
Well, the amount of hate on the forums is really disproportionate to how bad SWTOR is to the point that it seems more likely people are paying $15 to troll the forums

Just want to point out the game has been out for a month and incase any of you people saying bioware hasnt done this wow had this so much better you're all just blind and ignorant. half of those features you're referring to were not with wow upon release. you went from the polished end of wow when blizzard had 6 years to address issues and its being compared to a month of effort from bioware. Grow a brain and wake up to reality bioware patch regularly to update gameplay add content and make the game more enjoyable for everyone. On the note of the grinding, the grind quests are optional which is why they are bonus! gasp if you dont want to do them then dont its really not a difficult concept. The questing in this game is a thousand times better than wow believe it or not its quite enjoyable to actually be able to interact with npcs. if you're bored make a new class and play a new story no class has the same story this game has limitless potential and it is going to crush wow in the years to come. Bioware have done a fantastic job now be patient and let them continue to impress the community.

Started playing on Dec 14th. Only hit 49 on my main today. Still not done with the class quest. Still interested. I have one alt sitting at 14 or so, another one at 24. I forsee being here at least long enough to run all the class storylines, and my obsessive-compulsive side wants to do all the sidequests and heroics on each of those runs ... ... so yeah, I don't think I'll be growing bored with this game anytime soon.
