If you have a Trooper Commando, just roll a BH Powertech same ability as the Vanguard but at least you dont play through the Trooper story again..

No..

Having advanced class is great, but if people could just change it whenever they wanted it would take so much away from it.

I know the feeling when you realize that you should've chose differently and really dont want to start all over again, but leveling in this game is fun so its not bad.

Four days? Fat chance dude, I have a full time job and there's no way I can devote that much time to a game to level a class.

We should be able to change an AC at least once per char.

Stop being lazy and level a new character. You already know the story so you can just spacebar through everything. You will find yourself at level 50 in no time.

So what exactly are you trying to get out of this mmo? Its a game, it has rules. If you bought up board walk and park place in monopoly and then just didn't like that play threw, you play again and get it right for youself. You don't just make up rules to suit yourself and your deep seated fact that you really just don't like "playing" the game. Or rolling another toon wouldn't matter to you. Go find a game you actually trully like...

He means 4 days palyed....ie 96 hours. Which is about how long you can level if you only quest and spacebar. Some say 72 hours but I don't know.

The real problem is spec balance. The DPS specs need to all be equal or closer to it in sustained DPS and burst DPS. Right now picking a hybird class but going into a DPS tree for most = gimp DPS.

Monopoly takes maybe two hours at the most to play a game through.

You make no obvious point. Not everyone is a child and I believe that MMO's should offer fun and innovative features rather than the work-esque levelling grind that takes some of us a few months and no foreseeable fun features in the endgame.

Play Guild Wars and maybe you'll understand that it shouldn't take us such an investment to enjoy a game.

"Four days played time" does not mean "four days."

You're allowed to spread that time out however you want.

And no, allowing people to change a high-level character to another completely different class of high-leveled character would be bad. There are some choices you need to make with your character that should be permanent. This is one of them.

I do not have a character that I feel I will ever need to change the AC. BUT: Troopers and Vanguards are essentially the same class minus a cannon. Seriously, they wear the SAME gear and play relatively the same way.

I'd really like to be able to change the AC. Earlier in the game's design this was meant to be a class unto itself but now it really doesn't seem like that. It really just seems like you get two different trees to choose from.

The gear isn't all that different and after playing Sith Warrior through five different builds during beta (both Marauder and Jugg) I can tell you that the story is not different at all. There should be a way to change it. Period.
