Must admit, I don't like 2am CST as a start time. 2:05am CST would be much more convenient

There is no such thing as a "good time" to do maintenance.

People are still complaining about this really?

BW has the server stats. They choose the BEST time to fit ALL subscribers. They are not "out to get EU", it is off peak.

There is never, EVER a time where 0 people are playing for 6-8 hour blocks. Live with the maintenance time since they are really, statistically, off peak.

What about NA players that play on EU servers, or vice versa? Those would still be affected by the times!

There is no way to do split maintenance, it has been said many many times before. They would have to start region locking the game. And as I said, if they start doing that, what about NA players that play on EU servers, or vice versa? Would they be forced to play on an EU server without choice?

If I have time to play, and my NA servers are down, you bet I will roll on a EU server. Just because you will not, does not mean it will not happen. It might not. But a good business decision can not be made on a "might".

Think of all the issues that would occur if they start doing split maintenance. Then the EU servers will go down/get massive queues from NA players and we would have more complaints.....Just live with the maintenance.

You cannot go from one style to another more-strict style without causing MAJOR issues. WoW NEVER allowed this, thus they were able to create split maintenance.

The truth is there will be ALWAYS someone who is not satisfied with maintenance times so there is no point for any posts like "CHANGE TIMES I WANT PLAY" because even if they change time of updates etc that suit you there will be others that start posting the same ****. This is MMO and updates ARE NORMAL. All we should care about are results because so far we got amazing game and BioWare is still putting alot of effort to make it even better.

Right, yet more people being selfish.

Hold on while I pretend to be shocked.

Bioware will never be able to make everyone happy. Someone will always want to play while they perform maintenance. If they push back maintenance so that you and the other dozen players (most of them gold farmers) who want to play at 4am can play, then thousands of players in Europe end up waiting.

Why are you and the gold farmers more important than thousands of people in Europe?

Shouldn't we argue for maintenance to be done at the time when it affects the fewest people? I'd say that they're already at that point. In fact, I'd bet that Bioware actually looked at the usage statistics and found the stretch of time that had the lowest overall usage.

Arguing for it to change based to suit you is just immature and selfish.
