This whole thing happened because Bioware undershot the server count early, and then five days later totally overshot it.

Everyone and their mother tried to make a toon on Anchorhead, Port Nowhere, and a handful of other servers, got frustrated, saw the new ones and then bolted to anything that said "light."

So what we were left with was a solid community on the top 60% of servers and a population on the bottom that got spread way too thin.

Simple solution: offer free transfers for the low pop server peeps and then convert those servers to Aussie/Pacifics.

That way nobody has to stay in a 15 person fleet server if they don't want to and BW doesn't have to merge anything (ie "OMG THE GAME IS DYING!!!!!)

Your welcome BW. My consulting bill is in the mail

Well, let's try to laugh about it.

Courageous US is as dead as a stormtrooper wearing a red armor, two days away from retirement, with the picture of his wife in his pocket, receiving orders to go with Darth Vader recover stuff from the Plague, Toxic Chemical, Lanvaroks and Torture Droids Warehouse on the distant system of Planetoftheweekabouttobeblownup.
Oh, and his name is Kenny.

Do I have the general concept of self-entitlement correct?
If all the 50's on my servers just decided to reroll somewhere else or just plain quit, I'd definetly expect BW to merge the low pop servers.

A Lot of people would just quit the game if they can't even get one wz during the day, due to a low amount of 50's on the server, I know I would.

Luckily I play on a server with more than enough 50's, so I have no experience with how bad these low pop servers realy is.

True, and cancelling is what I did. Maybe if enough people did it it would prompt BW into action. I loved the game but I'm not going to reroll and I'll play until my sub ends next month. Hope they do something about it soon and maybe I'll play on for a couple more months.

Iron Citadel's population is beautiful atm, and plenty of Republic. Too bad I get 15 fps in fleet, else I'd be able to enjoy it.

My server has about 50-70 at peak in the fleet, standard is 30-40. The highest level in my guild is 40. It's weird because it was one of the many HEAVY servers on launch too. Now it's STANDARD borderline LIGHT

Pvp queues are surprisingly fast but that's because I'm rep and all the lowbies love to pvp

I am on Deshdae Cantina and its not bad, but I wish they'd let more people join in the first few weeks.

We had login queues at release for a week or two. I assume that was to slow down the number of people creating here.

Now level 50 pvp warzones tend to be about 16-20 imp at night and sometimes 8-10 republic.

Some nights, its 100% huttball b/c republic doesn't have even 8, and for imps its the same 16 people over and over.

Pretty dull.

I guess I should be happy we have enough population to have warzones even late at night. Perhaps they shouldn't have split the level 50s off in their own bracket for another month or so.

BTW, guys, it's not a rant. I'm enjoying leveling.

But how I'm supposed to do heroics groups on Taris, when there is right now five persons ?

OK I ding'd 50 at around 6pm yesterday, did dailies on Ilum where I hung around a bit hoping some Republic would show up and take the bases back, which didn't happen as I think I was the ONLY person in the realm on the planet (certainly on the Imperial side)

Then went to the fleet, where there were 8 people. Waited around there until about 10pm, hoping I would be able to do a flashpoint or anything really, where the population peaked at 11 people.

This is not acceptable and needs to be addressed.

I am beginning to become pessimistic about this game. The heavy servers might have life to them but the game is quickly dying to those of us on standard servers at lv 50. That is of course unless you want to reroll alts just to do story.
