i totally ignored the quest tracker and the routes it was giving me, and followed the advice in the thread i linked.

quest tracker seems to be giving proper routes into the zone though - except one passes through a ffa zone, other a level 50 champion guarded entrance.

i tried 2 caves in the coordinates given. i tried the northern route. i tried to go from the south. i even attempted to circumvent counterclockwise from the bottom of the map.

i was only able to get into the zone by running through the level 50 champions and getting whacked 2 times.

where is the rule that says 'people are expected to NOT be terrified of pvp' ?
There's no problem with that at all. It is possible to get through the two Imperial outposts with minimal deaths, and if you were truly terrified of PvP, you'd have less of a problem doing it.

You chose to take the PvP path. There were two very challenging paths through enemy territory as well, and you could have shared stories with your friends of the time you and Corso Riggs stormed an Imperial Outpost to find his friend and barely escaped with the help of a quirky republic medical probe droid.

It's a GREAT idea to do things that force players out of their comfort zone. It's a PHENOMENAL idea, in fact.

You just do it in a manner that involves only a minor amount of discomfort, and you don't make them repeat it on a regular basis.

A game such as a themepark MMO, which is what SWTOR is, NEEDS TO GO OUT OF ITS OWN DARN WAY to make players get on some rides they don't think that they will enjoy. It is how you get people to experience the content.

Many players will be put into this situation, find that they indeed do not like the ride, and never get back on again.

Others will find out that they LOVE the ride and want to get back in line over and over again.

You may not like this one aspect of the game, but it's still great game design.
Agreed. It's funny, he's not only wrong about design he's wrong about having to take that route in the 1st place.

It's a completely uninformed thread.

some people dont liek to figure thing out or explore a little ...

altho tere is a problem now and then with quest routes correctly updating couse , what i said before on nar shadaa clearly on the map the only place to go was some elevatot that was right in republic area , it updated correctly later showing a whole other way fro me to be able the quest area , so i could be bugged ...

but in this case yeh isee , OP is not even trying , maybe he needs pair of glasses or some adventure/explorer spirit :s
Quoted of SWTOR Forums: can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out.

so i come back home from work, i eat my dinner, i set out to entertain myself with a game i expect to enjoy, and, then i should end up paying for a game that puts me into things i DONT enjoy .........

explain the logic here please.

how about READING a thread before barging in to slap an irrelevant series of posts next time ?

i spent a sole hour circling the zones. i spent more than 30 minutes, trying to enter two different caves from the hints given in the thread i linked.

find me the non-pvp, non 'bash your head 2 times pointlessly into level 50 champions' way.

the latter is not supposed to happen by the way. it is apparent that those level 50 champions are standing in front of a zone entrance for a level 35 quest, so that the level 35 character should NOT enter from there.

Sometimes there's 2 paths. 1 for Republic and 1 for Empire. A quest might lead you out the other factions side, but you can go the other way.
Looking for a good woman. Able to clean, cook, sew, catch bait, and clean fish. Must have boat and motor.
((Please send picture of boat and motor))

quests do not suposed to lead you true ffa zones thats the hwole deal thats why quest tracker dont give you apropiate routes sometimes , tere IS a alternat route , teres a cave nearby like someone posted you keep saying its red its red , but clearly you keep being oblivious about ti , its not a insatcned cave , so you dont see any red ... its just a tunnel cavein ..

but ah well i stop tryign to convince you tere is a alternate route and quest tracker just leading you into ffa zone becouse it dont update correct but ah well .. pointless .. i give up

Dude, you screwed up and got yourself killed. It happens to all of us. Quit blaming the game.
