Bioware, I know I cannot change anything, and that the Consular is set in stone. But I cannot be the only person who was anticipating a class based on Leia. One of the things that set the Original Trilogy above and beyond the other movies of the time was the inclusion of a very strong female lead. Princess Leia wasn't a criminal or a soldier, she didn't have mystical powers and a lightsaber, she had passion and dedication to her cause. A person that was only a little different from the audience, yet often did better than the jedi or the criminal.

She kept the Rebellion going, she showed Han how to be better than a crook and kept Luke on the straight and narrow. Now I respect the decision to make a second jedi class, and I understand if there was difficulty writing the story for a revolutionary or noble. When I watched the "Saga" I didn't realize that Jedi could be anything but Jedi, and Sith anything but Sith. But Leia and Padme were heroes and were integral parts of every one of the movies.

I'll still be playing, but I'll be missing the iconic and heroic Leia and Padme class.

Maybe the Leia will be in an expansion or added in new content patches later on .

After viewing some of the powers a Consular has I am definately gonna role my main as one. 1. I like to heal 2. I'm looking forward to the story line and all the temptation to go to darkside (which I won't ) and 3. I think this class is gonna be a huge help to the Jedi Knight so all they have to do is attack and hopefully after i've mastered healing will keep them from dying... Fun Fun Fun

Wouldn't it be better with only Jedi Knight with three different talent trees? Guardian, Sentinel and Consular?

awesome, gota make this my main character class looks great fun
Though this is the end of the age of heroes it has saved its best for last

So the Jedi Knight has a blue lightsaber, Sith Warrior has two red lightsabers and the Jedi Consular has a double bladed green lightsaber. My guess for next week when they release the Sith Inquisitor they will have the purple double bladed lightsaber. Still waiting for the yellow fingers crossed.
