I'd love a server transfer or merge.

I'm on the Ebon Hawk and I'd say we have a great population right now, probably more balance than many of the servers too. When I see things like this person's post though, it's pretty bad. Some of these servers have very few people playing and he doesn't even have the chance to be social.

Sounds like these low pop ones need to be merged, unfortunately I don't think BW will do it because it's a sign of 'weakness'.

No, the game is not dead. Some servers are dead.

Yes it's up to Bioware to fix the problem.

Nobody here is psychic. How were we suppose to know our server would become low pop? Do you realize a lot of us rolled in the servers when they had heavy populations but they dropped over time? Do you think its fair we have to do all the content over we just did because we were unlucky enough to pick a bad server?

Agreed. Port Nowhere is always populated, and the pvp is extremely competitive.

After 9pm there are Republic groups that absolutely stomp people.

I hate 6-0 Hutball matches whether I'm winning them or losing them. I like real competitions, where win or lose you get that "damn that was a good match" feeling.

Port Nowhere gives me about 5 of those a day.
Going back for my master's degree on a Hutball scholarship.

You could reroll on a different server, but give it time the population will probably grow tremendously over the next year as long as BioWare does their job. And if they don't, you'll have a character on a different server you can play until they do put up transfers, I just don't see it happening soon because they just launched and the servers are mostly Heavily populated, or standard at worst during peak hours and we've seen servers that were standard before, become heavy etc. They're probably hoping that will be the case for all of the servers.

What I really want to see one day is a technology where they create super-servers for each ruleset, so there may be one, to just a few servers per rule-set that hold massive amounts of players so that this server issue MMO's face disappears, or for people to switch "servers" like they can switch phases.. It's not a measure of a games success, WoW has dead servers and always has had dead servers, they just have so many of them that the population spread out unevenly.

Your server is probably still growing. I'd bet all the lower level planets are packed. Just give it more time. People will level up

On my 'light' populated server there were 11 people on Tython at this moment. Just out of curiosity I made a new chararcter on a 'standard' server and were 47 people on Tython. These were both east coast servers. I know this isn't a perfect way to access server pops but it tells the story of why people want of their dying servers.

As far as low pop servers growing I don't see it happening. If your new to the game your more likely to roll on a busy server than one that's light. So the higher pop servers will keep on growing while the lower pop servers will continue to die.

We've lost 7 50s in a week >_>

Been queued entire day for pvp now (since 10am- 9.30pm) Gotten 2 matches, both lasted 120 sec cause of few rep players.

It's really really boring. Sure i could reroll, but i dont really like any other class except 2 on empire side.
