I really don't know how many more people are going to be subscribing to this game. World of Warcraft was such a phenomenal success that it had incredible market penetration. People who want to play SWTOR MMORPG aren't going to wait around- right now, it's a retention issue facing BioWare, not a "find an untapped portion of the market" issue.

And yeah, the end game does suck. Karagga's Palace and Eternity Vault was so full of "Why should I even care?" moments. I mean, if my character didn't just save the galaxy on three separate occasions on his way to 50 maybe the whole "Have to save the galaxy from yet another terrible threat!" angle would have worked.

I mean, I did like parts of it, don't get me wrong... I just don't see myself engaged in it like I was when I was raiding in WoW. It almost feels like once was good enough. Maybe because it was just too easy? Felt kind of pointless? Anyways, yeah, the end game for SWTOR is really bad.

Heh this is why SWG and EVE worked for me. There was no endgame.

Iam being neutral i try to be at least.
The server i started on was high / full, now its a ghostown and so i rerold to a new high server after the (free month) to make sure i have fun.

We have to admist that SWTOR is a very good mmo, it lacks some stuff here and there but they need to spit it out now or wait when Dibalo 3 / GW2 arrived wich is a no go in any case.

SWTOR seems to stop growing and it looks stable now 3 days after the free month.
WIll it top WoW ? never ever going to happen
Will it get less and less subs ? i think it will decline yes.
But dont forget that there are mmo's out there with 100k players having tons of fun and have a great community.

GW2 and Archage are the most anticipated mmo's coming out this year or the next.
WoW seems to have alot of trouble with their Cataclysm and not to speak about their choice of adding panda and pokemon to their game wich blows off alot of their loyal playerbase included myself.

Single player SWTOR is beast
PvP range classe is beast
Flashpoints (when you find a group as dps) is beast.

But those things are fun only for a moment and SWTOR needs to add more contend alot faster to keep the hungry masses happy.
It doesnt hurt to communicate more with the playerbase about incomming changes and make the forums a little better then they are now.

Personaly iam waiting for GW2 and Archage but so far iam having tons of fun rerolling and discovering new story's.
But for how long

Within a year SWTOR may end up like Warhammer / Aion due to massive population imbalance and awesome new mmo's hitting the market.
Time will tell, but this game will never ever surpass 3 / 4 million subs.
WoW will still have 5 million subs after GW2 / Archage have arrived even with panda bears released.
SWTOR may end up going Free to play like Aion did.
Lucasarts are not happy atm and so Bioware cant be happy either.
Fix stuff fast and create contend like madness is what can keep this game alive.

Exactly. I couldn't have phrased my thoughts better myself.

I will also say in regards to the flames I have already gotten and will get, if you don't demand a better product, but are still willing to pay for it, you will get fed garbage. Plain and simple, why increase the quality of a product if NO ONE cares or complains about it needing to be better. Are some of you people so oblivious that you don't see this or is your taste in gaming so bad that you enjoy this type of thing. I want this game to succeed! I just don't think it will AT THIS MOMENT. They may prove me wrong.

Only thing Swtor doesn't have is the End-game Hardcore Raiders that creates the Best-in-slot loot system. Which also create a mass need for those pieces of gear. Also pushing the so called Slot Machine effect, which cause a big addiction. Which cause the "I need big numbers to increase my numbers even more so i can have the biggest numbers".IF BW made PVP gear completely useless in PVE. you would see more people LF Pre Hard-mode things. IT would create longer endgame.

IT was the exact same reason Burning Crusade was considered the PEEK of wows performance. The Expansion Last almost 2 years. Not because it had more content..because no matter what you had to start at Kara and work your way up.

Its not the fact the Swtor needs to release more content. The just need to make it a little more hard to get too. To slow down the ability to get in. Such as Precursor quests. The have an amazing story strat. They need to use it.
