The population on my server seems to be going down also. Its a bummer because i watch it for a week before starting a toon there and it rarely went below "Very Heavy" with the exception of the very early mornign hours... Now during prime time its at "standard." Anther server I was watching doesn't hit "Very Heavy" much anymore either.

One might say that the game is starting to die.

This is a real issue, I have a character on The Defenestrator and it is totally deserted. Its impossible to do any heroics because you can't find enough people on the same planet to realistically do anything beyond a Heroic 2.

I'd love a server transfer or merge.

In TOR, people are spread out across the planets. You might say "Well, there are only 10 people on Hoth" but there are 175 on Coruscant right now. If you still have your WoW account, let me know how many people are in Darkshire right now? lol.
Those who play on the really low pop servers know better. This isn't just a matter of being 'spread out' on some of these servers. The fact is that many people have left them (either quit or rerolled) and BW expects those of us who have put countless hours into our toons alrady just to reroll instead of wearing big boy pants and merging servers.

Starting zones on my server are nearly as bad as the other levels, but it is kind of ridiculous to wait for those just starting the game to get to the same level as me in a few weeks (if they haven't left by then!) just to do some group content.

Honestly, I wouldn't even care if they moved just me...and I am willing to pay for it. I promise I wont tell the other six people on my planet who are probably afk and watching ****. I promise I wont tell the 4 other people in my guild which had well over 55 people just a couple weeks ago. I promise I wont tell the level 50's, if I can find any.

The Dark Side is strong with this server.

My boyfriend, my best friend and I started characters on an RP server (Lord Ieldos, or something like that?) and we ran into this issue as well. When the patch that created level 50 bracket for pvp came out, my boyfriend was outta luck for pvp because there were generally only 5 or 6 50s on at a time including him.

We have rerolled and are now leveling together. The server population issue is something that generally does happen to every new MMO and we were surprised to wind up in the middle of it. Anyone else who has the same issue certainly has our sympathy. For us, rerolling was not a huge issue because it meant we'd get to level together this time, which is what we prefer anyway.

Have the same problem on my realm (Tott Doneeta or something)

Made a char on there because my friends are playing there, standard size population, so I thought why not, must be better than my 1 hour queues on my current server (couple of days after release). Whilst leveling I was quite frequently the only person in the zone, I'm now 49 (just about to ding 50) and I fail to see that I will be able to do any endgame content if this doesnt improve. Which is what I've been most looking forward to..

I really think server merges are needed. It will only get worse, which will lead to people, including myself unsubbing, as not everyone is an alt-a-holic

my server decreased from 280 people in the fleet at prime time to 130 people in the fleet. the population took a big hit, i dont foresee it decreasing much more unless bioware messes up.

MMO's only have one chance to shine, and thats during the free month, sadly swtor failed, according to the population.

Agreed. I don't even bother with alts till I have my main squarely in raiding territory and I'm looking for something to do on the non-raid nights.

So I want a honest two cents. Is there any chance server transfers will happen ?

Because if not, it's useless to continue to level my level 34 sith warrior. (No...not quitting, taking another server)

I wish people would actually start naming their servers in these types of threads.
