Back to Rift for the pvp (its actually good compared to swtor) then GW2 or Tera which releases in May.
Greetings from a red zone far far away in the land of oz, abandoned & ignored by EA's corporate fatcats
Would you like fries with that Bantha Burger ?

Nowhere, I had quit WoW, and RIFT, long before SWTOR came out.

I might play through Mass Effect again, maybe pick up ME2, I'm in the mood to do that.

If SWTOR fails I'm pretty much done with MMORPGs in general. I can't fathom going back to WoW after playing it for 5 years, RIFT doesn't interest me, no other MMORPG I have played has kept me interested long enough to get anywhere with it.

I like SWTOR, I'm having fun playing it, but its MMORPGs last chance to take my money.

Tired of the blinking screen that started after the last patch. It's disorrienting. My ability lag has gotten worse and sometimes my abilities don't fire off at all. Where the game ran smooth before it now stutters.

I think if I felt like the dev team cared about gamers like me I would have their back. I am an rper. But character creations sucks, no appearance tabs, no chat bubbles.

I followed this game since it was a rumor. What a disappointment.

I will probably just go back to playing Skyrim. Either that or just work on my artwork or writing. Heck maybe I'll put in a few shifts extra at work.
I find it funny someone takes the time to follow a game for 4 years and quit after a few weeks over common bugs most MMOs have at launch. Why do people like you not wait to 6 months after launch because that's how long it takes most MMOs to get the major bugs worked out and the real tweaking started. Polish is normally after the first year. I have been MMOing for the 13 years and TOR is down right smooth compared to most launches.

GW2 is going to be a huge flop, and Tera will be so bad they probably will have to completely shut that one down in the US.
Because they are all based on only combat and weak attempts to attention seek from item sets and mounts.

What the MMO genre needs is a construction and strategy based MMO where you can set up a complete base of operations for a company with economy, military and social/asthetic buildings. Think Xcom Enemy Unknown but with the base staff as the class types, Soldier, Engineer, Scientist. Running missions as events pop up on a global map.

SWG was a great game that lasted a long time... I plan on sticking with SWTOR for as long as I keep enjoying it, regardless of its measure of subscription success. I expect, if they try, they'll keep SWTOR around at least as long as SWG was.
