What's point of Social pts if you play Solo?

I got sixteen alts and all of them have Social 0 and it will remain that way as long as I play the game. I refuse to group. I get most satisfaction out of playing an mmo by doing everything myself

So....why put something like this in the game when clearly the majority of mmo players now days SOLO. You got people who hate grouping that are doing things they normally would not do to get Social pts. That means they are behaving in a fake way in the game and not being true to themselves

Bioware,..is this what you want? You want people to pretend to be Social? That's what it looks like to me

well then mr.solo person you have to put up with the fact you will never get any social gear. Personally i'm almost social 5 and i enjoy having my various gear sets from social venders! its just something else to grind really another time sink and if you want those sets you'll group up and do flash points for them... or do like i did level with a friend.

don't like it? to bad you'll have to live with the having no social sets then wont you! be even BETTER once new modding system hits and i can slot my epic stuff into my social sets ^^

I'm in between. I prefer doing most stuff on my own but I will join groups when people ask for help. I spend most of my time exploring maps though; datacrons have most of my attention.

However, @ OP, you can't say that just because you play by yourself that "the vast majority" of people also play by themselves. That is not true and you have to accept that.

Your play style is your own and not everyone elses'. There are players who prefer to play in groups. So why is it fair that they get shafted for their play style while you don't?

Stop acting selfish and enjoy the game how you enjoy the game. If you don't want to play one way, then you have no right to complain when you can't get the rewards for it.

I play with other people all day, sometimes in a team but otherwise just a PuG. I have gained 0 social points for it.

Single Player content aside, why does bio ware discriminate against PvPers for social points?

Because I think you are projecting your desire to solo onto others. I dare you to find FACTS that say the majority of players prefer to play solo.

I think you are asking for something that you want to be true, but is not really a fact.
