Can we get some more ways to earn social points please? I really don't see why grinding group PvE quests is the ONLY way to earn some of that cool looking gear. How about a way to get social points through real "social" interaction rather than just talking to NPCs? On a side note.... Why do I need social III to use outfits I buy with space coms? The two types of game play have nothing to do with each other.

Yes I agree. Ive run a lot of FPs since Day 1 of early access & im nowhere near social rank 1 yet (gametime split over various characters). My friend who adventures with his misses is at Social Rank II already. Its gonna take me months if not years to get there.

Its not the only way. You just dont like the other way. Which is to group and participate in dialogs with others. Flashpoint grinding IS a pain. Grouping and leveling the game with others is fun. If you choose not to play the game in groups (dare i say, socially) then well I suppose "grinding" boring stuff over and over is all you got.

With no "grinding" whatsoever. If you truly have no friends or just hate grouping.. well then I personally don't believe you deserve "social" points

What I'm asking for is an actual "social" way to earn these points, so what you're saying here doesn't really make sense. These points are about forcing people to do group based PvE... which has very little if anything to do with being social.

They need to scrap the social system altogether. Until that time, I'll wait for them to allow transfers and open up a few new accounts to box my own group.

With no "grinding" whatsoever. Except this is wrong. I leveled up fast because I wanted to hit 50 fast. I was going to do the Social stuff after 50. Except here is the kicker. All level 50 content has been bugged since pre-release and you can't get any social or dark/light points. So basically if you have done all the quests already you are SOL until BW decides to get off their butt and fix this. Sitting at 97 social points total doing almost every Hard Mode daily for the last 2 weeks. Pretty fail.

Games that make you play the way "it wants you to play" instead of the way you enjoy playing is the type of game people end up quitting after the first month.

The problem here is that being in a group doing PvE content does not necessarily mean you are socializing. At the same time, there are ways to socialize that don't involve being grouped together.
