I really want to take some time out to really let BioWare know how much I am enjoying SWTOR.
I really do enjoy the combat, the crafting system, even the warzones are quite fun.
My main point of wanting to thank you so much is that I have never had an MMO experience that actually had me hate an NPC, or at the same time, laugh so hard and enjoy alot of them.

The story NPC I really can't stand is Chemish on Balmora. And I love that a game can do that to you. Excellent job BioWare, I know there are fixes coming for things and I can't wait to see them and enjoy SWTOR even more.

And thanks for my medal/title!

Now please close this so my thread does not get flooded with the haters.

Before you close it - I would like to echo the OPs sentiments.

This game has exceeded my expectations and I really am enjoying it. I still have some issues with it (lack of customisation, macros, decent grouping system to name a few) but overall I'm having more fun here than I had all last year in WoW and much more than in any of the other alternate MMOs I tried.
If my post has praise it's not that I'm a fanboi. I just enjoyed something.
If my post has criticism, it's not that I'm a hater. I just hope to improve the game through feedback.

I'll add that I like the game a lot but I don't love it. They failed on one too many things which took it down a notch for me.

It's true, there is alot of work to be done in the game. But for me none of it has been game breaking. This recent post on them working to get the ability lag fixed just tells me they are still going in the right direction.

People may diminish the importance of the diaglog and story, but I can't see myself playing an MMO that didn't create the level of attachment I have to both my companions and my character. WHen I made my bounty hunter, in my mind he was a ruthless cuthroat. Over time, he has developed into an honorable bounty hunter, who has gained as many light side points as dark.

Considering I find other aspects of the game enjoyable, the combat, the crafting, and the grouping (never had a friends list so full in any MMO I've played) all I can say that, in my OPINION (use a dictionary if your having problems) Bioware did a great job. Oh, and if you feel the need to call someone a fanboy for liking something you don't... it's ok. We understand... people who are different than you are scary. =0)

Bioware are famous for their awesome RPG success. I havn't been so immersed in an MMO such as this one and I believe it will go far.

However, Bioware have only just jumped into the MMO market and it will take a long time for them to polish up on how to deal with how different an MMO is to an RPG.

Their choices over the next few months will detemine how well this game plays against the giants of the genre.

We'll see where the game is in 6 months. It's an MMORPG, it's going to need more than 30 days of breathing room before you can really judge it.

For all we know this game will be dead like Rift by then.

While there are issues that still need to be fixed I do appreciate the patching and the communication to players. I thoroughly enjoy the game and have recruited a handful of people who also enjoy the game. Thank you!
