Philberts prolly just mad cuz BW took away his pretty battlemaster title and now he actually has to work for it to get it.

The devs running the PVP department have no IDEA what they are doing. these people are not good at anything. they are gonna ban players for there SCREW UP? ****z if i was in a group farming noobs dropping off a ledge i sure as hell would be trying to get in on the action. you cant blame players for finding ways around your crummy system.

And you are the one actively contributing for it being that way by exploiting unintended game mechanics.

I actually did not engage in the behavior, as I was at work when it was going on. I didn't get home until all the children on the Republic side were in bed.

In fact I gave up on my level 50, who is rank 48? 49? PvP. Decided to level another toon instead.

Because you were able to spawn TRAP a team and get elite battlemaster overnight.

I'm still trying to figure out how its an exploit to form a zerg and camp the other side?

That one is new to me.

Because there was NO way to leave. You would spawn and instantly die with no way to leave.

If you don't see how it's abusing a system, lol.

Enter warzone, AFK out. Get back to fleet. Form a counter group composed of Scoundrels and Jedi Shadows.

Return to Illum, go to base. Target the tank fighting the giant gun.

Run up to tank, butcher tank. Vanish and get out of base. Watch gun start butchering players.

Problem solved.

The major major problem with the republic faction imbalance and the valor farming and the change to Ilum dailies and all of this is not that it can't be fixed. It'll get fixed. It'll get fixed and all the people who benefited will keep their battlemaster titles and gear and those that were affected and didn't have those things handed to them on a silver platter will be stuck getting rolled for months while trying to farm valor and gear.

That's the real problem. Rolling back valor exploits is one thing, and it is a good thing, but the longer they go without fixing this imbalance in rewards for Empire (who can farm valor all day doing huttball while republics on my server can't even queue a game in the 50 bracket, nor can they run their daily's unless they watch Ilum until 3AM to run them) - the more the divide will widen.

You don't understand how much players are Empire.

You leave illum, you come back, someone spots you, out of the over 150 empire players on illum, 10 players target you and insta drop you.

You can say all you want about how things could've changed, but the end result was you die, you go right back to the spawn where more AOE's kill you with no escape other than to not go to illum.

It was blantly exploiting the system to farm valor.
