They did engage. The first time. After the eighth time, I don't think they were engaging any more.

Stop hiding behind the ToS. We've already destroyed that argument. Camping breaks the ToS but, it is not punishable.

Changing the tune now that I gave a better analogy with more ambiguous terms? Figures. Not so easy anymore when it isn't a black and white scenario.

PvP in a PvP area, and you want to punish people for not knowing they were exploiting.

Naturally open world pvp in this game is a joke, empire outnumbers republic by A LOT.

We needed the Hutt cartel as a third faction to balance it out but no...
A good soldier obeys without question. A good officer commands without doubt.

Yer then after the 20th time they had left their PC in hope something would happen whilst they posted vids on youtube about SWTOR being exploited or even watched TV. I cannot even imagine how you could come to performing such act.

I mean even knowing "oh this game has a faction imbalance, lets contribute to it more by making this ops group of republic reroll imperial". Sorry but you are ruining the game for yourselves.

We are not animals. We know what is morally right and wrong so you cannot blame bioware for this. THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN BLAME BIOWARE FOR THIS. If you were however a dog and there was a piece of steak left out accidently by someone and it was lying on the floor you cannot blame the dog because he knows no better. But WE DO!

PLEASE STOP ACTING PRIMITIVE!

Don't bash me aswell for bringing morals into this but if you waste someones time, and usually most people's only free time they have before they must sleep and go to work, then it is considered immoral.

Thank you.

But... but... but... Morality doesn't have any place on a PvP server! There's no crying in baseball!

Oh, and I completely agree with you. But, this is an argument that is being argued for the sake of arguing. Nothing more, nothing less.

The problem with this is many dont seem to realize that certain things also apply by default on a pvp server. You will be ganked, you maybe corpse camped, you may have to face overwhelming odds. Pvp by its very definition is not fair and you should not expect it to be. Take a tip from someone who has pvped in a lot of games, sometimes you have to know when to call it quits in a fight and do something else. For the foreseeable future illium is such a thing. You wont gain respect throwing yourself into a grinder, in the end you are just feeding the gankers.

Read carefully. Being dumb and getting facerolled is something different than being outnumbered. You cannot stand there and kill every single player for the whole day till they quit in TF or BF.

If both sides had equal numbers in Ilum, the game could move on but they hadn't. Something cause sith to be more attractive for most players and that fact broke the mechanics. Some sith abused the broken mechanics and got huge advantage over pub. Easy.

Solution: Change the current mechanics so both sides can enjoy the game.

Geez. This thread extend the meaning of denial.

As a two day old 50 Sent with 12.4k health, I went to Ilum, mapped out the area just beyond the landing zone, found all the quests I could, and started working on them. Then a group of 5 Imps found me and set upon me like a pack of starving rabid piranhas. Seriously, *** is your issue Imps? 5v1? Are you afraid? I damn near took one of you with me, so maybe you are, but I'm not going back to Ilum now, after dying a minimum of 15 times trying to collect armaments. You've made it clear, my measly 100 valor is more important than a little simple common courtesy.

Seriously, if you outnumber somebody by such overwhelming odds, you aren't good. I really hope you know the difference.
I'd say 'IMHO', but it would be a lie. I'm not humble, and everything I say is stone cold fact.

Sadly, the only way to make it work would be to heavily instance the world. Basically setting up a queue, until X number of Republic and X number of Imps were ready to start; and only allow one or two in on each side. But then, it would no longer be Open World PvP, and just another Warzone queue.

Basically, Ilum is pretty much screwed until they figure out a balancing maneuver. They need to balance it, because otherwise you'll have Imps sitting in Ilum all day without any Republic to kill (vice-versa depending on your particular imbalance).
