I left the car unlocked with the keys in the ignition. It's my fault for doing that and I was dumb.

When the cops catch you, it's still your problem that you stole the car.

In this case thy was being forced to be ganked over and over again. They could not leave world, they could log out and quit game but that was it. But that toon was locked out, until the mob desided to move on.

Once again, I'm just quoting ToS, the thing we all have to agree to in order to play the game. The ToS does not state that the exploitation has to even be intentional. It doesn't matter what you or I consider to be exploitation. It became exploitation the instant BW said it was. I just don't see what Philbert has to complain about. If he doesn't enjoy the ToS or the conduct used by BW to enforce the ToS, he can always disagree with them and stop playing the game.

Different scenario. Car is legally in your name with a title.

A better example would be "I left my Oakley's on the table at a restaurant and didn't tip the waiter." Woops. Your fault.

Mixing lvl 10s and 50s aplies for both factions which creates balanced teams most of the time if not premade. And which shooter is allow you to spawn camp 2 guys against 10. You can spawn camp an equal numbered and powered team if they are really that bad.

Yes they could have just logged off, but then the option was getting farmed or not playing at all.

I AM NOT SAYING THIS WAS THE KILLER'S FAULT. It was Bioware's fault but just wanted to make sure I clarified that part for you.

EDIT: I had originally said Empire's fault, changed to Killer's fault. It is a habit since I play Republic on a Sith heavy server and there is a lot of "discussion" about this in game too.
I made an alt on the faction being farmed, took me a few seconds and i was back to enjoying the game. Emergency fleet pass ftw also, or forcing yourself to be booted from a warzone by not leaving the spawn. As i said, pure hubris.

My fav is still team fortress 2, so much fun to spawn camp. Battlefield also, i honestly am having a harder time trying to think of one where you cant spawn camp.

I don't think you get it. The keys getting left in the car represent the design flaw that BW didn't realize at the time. The car thief represents the players who exploited that design flaw and BROKE *********** ToS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE, IF YOU BREAK THE RULES, YOU ARE GOING TO GET PUNISHED. Steal a car, go to jail. "But the keys were there," is not a justification for stealing the car.
