Lightsaber Color Crystals

Many of us loved having Red and Blue lightsabers in Jedi Academy, or other combinations that are unavailable in ToR because of the restrictions.

The worst part is, it's not even about faction here, it's about alignment, which is simply silly.

We should be able to customise our image any way we want.
Colours like: white, pink and so on should be a bit more rare. Just give us the main, well known, colours so we can use them as we please. Please?

Okay, new gripe.

I went back to Hoth to do heroics with my brother, who needed help. I was tanking them at level 49, so I could just get all those elites to gang up on me with impunity. I had a group of six elite NPC sith attacking me. They each had two sabers. They were all purple. It was like they were taunting me! Neiner neiner neiner! We can use purple! We're sith! You're not! Arbitrary blue for you!

Lightsaber colors need to be completely customizable.

If your class uses one, you are basically going to be using that weapon from now till you quit the game. A custom color palette (or even some kind of two tone option [green with a yellow glow, blue with a purple glow, etc]) would make this alot more bearable, lead to a ton of interesting combinations and generally make everything alot more interesting then the same 5 or whatever colors.

Hell, they could even make some sort of longish complicated quest that you would need to complete before you could have access to it.

Not happening... in KOTOR they have stats, this is a KOTOR influenced game, plus in SW lore different crystals had different advantages.

Even if they leave stats attached, give us some to choose from. Don't make the BiS a hideous color to the point where you have to choose gimped or ugly. Give me a variety of stats for each color, and the rarity can come in with the weight of the stats.

I can semi agree on that, because i use green color crystals, and so far i can find green crystals with many different stats that are of use to me, but the thread is about purple crystals, this i kinda have an issue with bc i want a purple saber sometime on my Rep Consular, if not... ill roll an Emp Inq and RP it as my Consular turned dark. Problem solved

What is even more stupid than lightsaber crystals is the fact that a good aligned non force user can't have red blaster bolts.

I was really annoyed by this today, all the blasters ive been getting had yellow or green blaster bolts, but i really want red, so i go and buy a red crystal, but even though im not a jedi im still restricted, thats just silly.
