But I read reviews and knew what this game was before I bought it and I'm wise enough not to waste my time trying to turn this into something that it is not. The game is what they made it, enjoy it or vote with your $ubscription and go elsewhere.
Another "don't try to change it" argument....... MMOs constantly change and add content, constantly improve. And they way they know what needs improvement is from player feedback like this thread. That's how MMOs keep alive and thriving. Things will be added, things will change. If anyone needs to face reality and deal with it, it's you, not us. Stop being an anti-progressive status quo supporter, you're going to want change eventually too as the game gets older. If they listened to people like you, the game would stagnate and die, there would be no continued replay value if they didn't add features. And once again, Bioware already said they're working on adding an LFG tool, we're just asking for it ASAP before the group activities pretty much die out and everyone falls into a soloing rut.

I know how you feel. My BH is level 39 and has done one flashpoint at the appropriate level. The leveling goes so fast that if you were doing FP's you would probably be out leveling your questing world. It would be nice if they had access points to the FP's on the planets...might have made things easier as going to the fleet is a lot of hassle and you would be around level appropriate players.

Actually you don't get much xp from flashpoints, it's more about doing some cool stories with a group along the way as you level, and getting some special equipment.

I might make more of an effort to do them then. I'm running mostly in mod able gear and upgrading it myself with Cybertech. But the story would be worth it.

Yeah if you think of it, you could get more xp in the time just doing quests, because in the time it takes to complete a flashpoint, you could have done a few solo quests, and a flashpoint gives about the same xp as an quest of that level.

I'm still wearing the moddable robe I picked up in the foundry, because I like the look of it, and just have level 51 armoring and 50 mod/enhancemnt stuck in it. And if you played KoTOR 2, you'll love the story in the foundry, alot of stuff you'll remember (I won't spoil it with details)

for those of us who still want to experience the content but can't find groups, it kind of sucks to not be able to when the server went from a healthy population to a ghost town. What am I supposed to do in that case? Just power on doing solo missions all day with nobody to do heroic 4s with even or should I just quit now because paying $15 for a solo experience is a fruitless endeavor. Its time to start merging servers now while people are still here, not 6 months down the line when half your player base is gone and forgotten about the game.

Really.... Keeping a ship from sinking is easier than saving a sinking ship.

Merge servers now before more people leave because their server is lightly populated and they have no one to do group content with or pvp with.

And get this LFG tool in the live servers ASAP!

Group Finder: Hell yes

Cross Server: No way

My server has a community and it's beautiful. People network, people have reputations, people know each other. This is all the good stuff old-school MMOs were made of.

Yes it takes ages to find a group at times, even with a server-wide LFG channel our server has going, but that's because level 50s are spread out all over the place.

Only about half of all level 50s actually spend time in the Space Station. Most go out questing in Ilum, do PvP or whatever.

The key to a successful LFG tool is to get all these people to use it. Every level 50 should be able to register him/herself LFG with just a simple click.

Convenience isn't the end-all design goal. WoW went down that path and now it's less of an MMO than even Guild Wars 1.

I hope SWTOR doesn't do the same.

We badly need a LFG tool to quickly get teams together for group content.

TL;DR = There's less players now, we're all spread out on alot of light population servers, takes too long to find a team, ruins fun, we badly need a fast cross-server tool to find groups for flashpoints.
So true, I agree.

WoW showed tht cross-server LFG tool isnt such a bad idea, it works, and thats the point.
