Lol it funny how fan ppl get mad when some one decides not to play their game anymore
One of my clan mates is a 37 bh n his reason for being bored with the game was that he felt like he beat the game because ----------------SPOILER ALERT-------------

Because he won The Great Hunt and didn't rlly know what else he could do

Now i know that's stupid but meh

SWTOR feels like it was made by droids
You know i know they are trying ot be funny with the whole theme of the tickets being answered by droids n all but it really does seem like they are being handled by them n it doesn't help the whole image of it either.

I keep telling my friends on TS that i think they just rushed the game out n im not blaming Bioware we all know who the real villain is here so that's all i'll say

Experience wil tell you that the more picky you are, the more you increase your chances of getting nothing.

From your post, i see that your taste in MMO's is very peculiar.
In my experience with MMO's, SWTOR has the most fun and engaging leveling up process of them all. If you dont like it... then i think you dont like MMO's in their current form. I would recommend you to go play Final Fantasy XI, maybe thats the type of time sink you're looking for.

But for you to say that your fun comes from having an objective, it sounds very weird. I think you're trying to find a Grinder's game and not especifically fun in the sense of the word. More like a task, that gives purpose to your playing later in the game.

Usually that would be the dungeons and raids at higher level, but to each his own i suppose.

Do not state your opinion as fact and try to disrespect the people that worked hard to bring us this game.

SWTOR is LOADS of FUN.

Im sad that you dont agree with that, but what you say really doesnt make any sense and i dont see a spec of truth in it. Only the fact that you dont have NPC running around makes you say the game is boring? I'm sorry, i dont buy it. You're just hating on it.
There are plenty of NPC's realizing the most random actions and even having conversations in town.

It just isn't fun.

I'm only like lvl 18 and it's complete torture. I don't like how my character crushes everything in his path by only using 2 or 3 abilities. I buff myself then I do lightning or a special saber swipe. Every now and then I'll use a electick charge to stun enemies.

I would start another character, but I can't get over how every area I've been to seems closed in. I'm not going to compare this game to WOW...that would feed the trolls. Instead, look at Star Wars Galaxies. I really didn't like that game, but there was a sense of go anywhere, get lost, and adventure in it.

Which brings me to my next point. The adventure is there....I know it is but it's too few and far between. I start on my main quest and on my way I pick up half a dozen side quests. I need to pick them up b/c they help me level, but in doing so it drags the main quest on. I like the idea of a single player MMO, but theres too much crap in the way.

Few of the side quests have really interested me.

Eventhough SWG was flawed, there was a means to and end. Becoming a Jedi. Theres no excitement like that in this game. I'm wielding a light saber from the start basically. This is more or less having to do with the time period......I don't like it. I liked the time during or around the original movies.

I don't know I bought a 2 month card and I'm still on my free month so I'm going to continue to give it a shot, but I don't see this game being my MMO of choice.....or game of choice.
I know exactly what you're saying, I had the same with Rift. Sometimes games just don't feel right and there isn't much you can do about it.

-nods-

Yup, and changing MMO's is no fun. I like to find one to call home for a long time, get to kow people and have some fun without learning something new all over again.

-shrugs-

Sometimes though it just can't be helped. My fall back is LOTRO, good role playing there, which you can do at any time at any level.

Good luck in settling in, hopefully something will change.
