Why do I feel like Bioware is not listening to the players ?

That's not relevant. This game's dev tracker forum demonstrates the devs respond. And you can search that forum to find an official response on pretty much every single major issue raised about this game.

In fact, it's just getting tiresome to read a new thread saying FPS lag is horrible, why won't bioware respond? When they already have responded.

People come to the general forums to complain about issues that have been addressed already, are under investigation, are acknowledged, and they steer clear of the forums that could help them find this all out. The Dev Tracker forum. The Community News roll on top of the forums. The Customer Support forum for billing and account issues. The Public Test Server forum for things currently being worked on and fixed and tested.

Instead all the crap lands here in one big pot of boiling rage.

And its all useless.

- Chat Bubbles
- Inviting people to group from guild menu
- addons for end game players, more over "Target Dummies" so we can practice our
Rotation.
- Collecter's edition mount that scales with mount speed.
- A spacedock in Dromund Kaas city , or Coruscant City so players can zone right in and
we all have an actual city hub and not some small circle tube thing known as a space
station.
- Proper segway from level 50 - HM Flashpoints - then Operations.
- a published loot table for bosses, so players can prioritize what and where they need to
go or do for upgrades.
- Global cooldowns on abilities to make the combat feel more fluid, they feel to long.
- Group summoning to instances.
- Auction House that isn't clunky
- Forced faction balance, Empire is bloated. Give republic something to make players switch.

Iam glad to see things like guild banks and some loose ui mod coming as announced today, however some of this list like chat bubbles should have been in the game at launch and I like so many others do not want to see this game fail because Bioware refuses to give the fans what they want.
do you want a win button as well? sound like you want a place where you login push a button and get loot. it is a mmorpg. I like to do stuff with my guild and random pugs. i have no trouble finding groups whatsoever.

Would you rather the devs post on the forums, or work on the game? Serious question.

Reading the sheer volume of crap on this forum is pretty much a full time job. I've killed many a 12 hour shift just reading gen discussion. The size of the player base makes for a VERY active forum.

We get pretty fast response on serious issues, often with less than 48 hour response time for major issues. If you know anything about coding and programming thats a pretty big deal.

Um, how is any of that "iwin"? Or are you just bashing because he isn't in love with the game?

Sounds like you're upset because someone has a different opinion than you. SWTOR, not KOTOR. Means you have to deal with other people.

Some of these things are ok, but some are really not needed as a priority.

1. Chat bubbles shouldn't be implemented. And if they are, definitely give us the ability to them off. I don't understand why everyone wants this, I mean, this isn't a comic book game like DCUO. Guess I must be old or something.

I could go on and on about the suggestions, but one in particular I wanted to mention: the forced faction balance.

Why should one side get an incentive because it has less. I mean, the Empire is just so freaking bad ***. It's the type of side you would WANT to be a part of. So much deceit, backstabbing, murderous, and lying. While the Republic side has....kittens. LOL! I'm just joking.

But seriously, one side shouldn't get an incentive. Now if they made the Republic side just as cool as the Empire side - no imbalance. Unfortunately, doing the 'woe is me' and getting an incentive is just wrong.

*Sigh* I REALLY hate to say this because I told myself I would, but here is the most simplest breakdown:

Empire = Horde
Republic = Alliance

*shudders*

So, if you ever played 'game which must not be named,' and saw that there were are a lot more horde than anything else, then you would see it is the same here.

I don't see real server forums coming any time soon. Consider the draconian and heavy-handed moderation here. If you spread the population across too many forums it makes it harder to keep that noose tight. But one example of how over moderation hurts the community more than it helps.

If you want something to be irked about it would be that when they respond and close the stupid thread. Then the Dev response is not listed in the DEV Tracker.

I lose more DEV responses that I know I have read and can't find because the thread was closed for one reason or another. Usually because of the posting limit and they open another thread.
