So if your class gets nerfed, it's because people whined and bioware "gave in" ?

I'm not sure what's more troubling; you actually thinking this is logical or insinuating that bioware is incapable of making their own decisions that are contrary to your own.

Oh I'm ready for nerf nerf nerf ... it happens in every MMO, it will happen here. It's pretty clear to me that some knowledge about PVP is lacking on the dev/design team at this point.

This is incorrect.

Most stealth detection is cast in an area, its not a passive ability. You have to already know a stealther is in the area and then cast your stealth detection ability in that area.

I'm sure if the BHers Heat Seeking Missile was able to crit for 7-8k, people would be calling for nerfs too.

This ^^, how can you possibly have any clue whether you are in the "vocal minority" or not? How do you know they didn't test it? Why shouldn't they listen to the forums? That's why they are here. I for one, agree with the nerfs. Though I understand how much it sucks to be nerfed, sometimes it's necessary.

QFE.

Thats why it should be ok to nerf the OP damage, you should be relying on teammates to help kill someone!

There is a video going around of Jugg/Sentinel doing 7k-8k AOE damage.

"Oh, but that was with all the consumable stacking."

Where are the post-nerf videos of Operatives doing 7k-8k crits?

I get the feeling that operatives never really learned how to to play their class if this change is the end of the world for them. Just my observations on the thread.

Also, the operatives crying that the nerfs are too much are offering nothing more than the people who cried that operatives were one shotting them.

Forums will be forums.

If the nerfs are too much you'll see compensation somewhere else relatively soon after testing. Don't worry. In the meantime if you're a good player you'll take it in stride and welcome the opportunity to learn how your class plays beyond gibbing people in the opener. Maybe develop some skill.

I play a guaridan tank and i was in full champ gear quite awhile ago and i could not understand what people were talking about with operatives being op. then i started running into very well geared ops and i saw exactly what people were talking about, and they were right.
