Please show me the Jedi Sentinel ability that lets me detect stealth from a mile away, or am I just supposed to lose every time a skilled Trooper isn't around?

Classes are not self-sufficient and rely on cooperation with their team-mates. That's how good pvp should be.

Ahhh I see. Makes sense. So, which classes do Jedi Sentinels kill in 3 global cooldowns, without them having a chance to fight back, and what classes do those victims require around to prevent that?

While I do not think Smugglers/Ops actual damage needed to be nerfed I do know Bioware keeps massive logs.

They can see where you where, what you said, the time stamp and the loc of every player.

If they are nerfing the class it is because they ran numbers and decided to bring them more in line, but if they are nerfing their burst they should give them a bit more sustained damage.

I am sure this wont be the last class to take a hit.. I see Trooper/Merc getting a hit next on their Gravity round and tracer missile spam.

Edit: If you also take note... first they checked to see if it was just the consumable stacking that was making classes out of line with the damage intended. After they brought that down they seem to have run their numbers again and have decided that the class still was not running as intended. I do not pretend to know the inner workings of the Bioware Dev team, but perhaps before charging off a cliff like a lemming people might want to see exactly where the class lands and how it works after the changes before declaring that the world has come to an end. Just a thought.

The problem isn't that they nerfed OP burst, they nerfed their armor pen which nerfs them in PVE, where sustained damage is already an issue. People can't really change specs in this game, there isn't enough option. If you nerf a class to the ground, they have no option but to re-roll or quit. This is why there needs to be full testing by Bioware and a certain degree of tenderness unless they want to see an atomic bomb fall on their baby.

Except in PVE you also have Juggs and other classes that can already stack damage reduction skills onto a mob. Perhaps it was the combo of Class A, B and C all stacking AC reduction that made them decide that 50% was a bit much so they reduced it to 30%.

If they don't balance classes to some degree, everyone will just play the same one in the end.

this got a chuckle out of me. I am sure you have detailed in house emails from MMO devs explaining in great detail how they just blindly nurf things based on forums.
