What do you do when there is an evil that you cannot defeat by just means? Do you stain your hands with evil to destroy evil? Or do you remain steadfastly just and righteous even if it means surrendering to evil? In my case, I commit evil to destroy the greater evil!

NO. solid gear tables are the ONLY reason people will do flashpoints, world bosses, etc.

I have no motivation to do them if I don't know that I will at least have a good chance of getting gear for my work. I remember running BT 10 times and with only one piece of gear to show for it--I stopped running it because I got too frustrated that I couldn't get any gear for my effort. If I got consistent gear I would have loved to keep going--it was a very fun flashpoint.

Knowing that I'm just rolling the dice to even get gear I could use to drop? Hell no.

.
even if Bioware was going to address all of these it might take some time ya know..

Quote:
- Chat Bubbles
ithey're apparently coming
Quote:
- Inviting people to group from guild menu
be nice but not something that's exactly game breaking.
Quote:
- addons for end game players, more over "Target Dummies" so we can practice our
Rotation.
or at least a combat log'd be nice.

Quote:
- Collecter's edition mount that scales with mount speed.
do you really intend to use a segway at level 50 if you can afford the expensive training?

[quote]- A spacedock in Dromund Kaas city , or Coruscant City so players can zone right in and
we all have an actual city hub and not some small circle tube thing known as a space
station.[quote]
I know WoW defined capitals as the main faction hub but TOR is doing something differnt. even if the space dock wasn't a few meters from the center people would still likely hang at the fleet because thats where we go for flashpoints GTN access and nearly anything else. you might not like it (and the circular nature I'll agree leads to lag) but thats the design plan.
Quote:
- Proper segway from level 50 - HM Flashpoints - then Operations.
by this you mean we should force people to gear out in HM flashpoints before doing opos? hmm no thanks, the last thing this game needs is Radiance

Quote:
- a published loot table for bosses, so players can prioritize what and where they need to go or do for upgrades.
often loot tables are put together by players simply from experiance, I expect this will be the case with this game.
Quote:
- Global cooldowns on abilities to make the combat feel more fluid, they feel to long.
I'm sure BW will tinker with that over time however they'll no doubt wanna be careful.
Quote:
- Group summoning to instances.
just about every planet has a shuttle to the fleet. it does not take long to get to a flashpoint in this game.
Quote:
- Auction House that isn't clunky
yeah I'dpersonally like to at least be able to search for armor type by slot. if I need a new belt I don't need to sift through 3 pages of boots.
Quote:
- Forced faction balance, Empire is bloated. Give republic something to make players switch.
this is always a risky thing to do and I think BW would be wise not to do anything immediatly and wait until the game's population stablizes. once thats done I can think of a number of ways to enchourage rep play, such as giveing the republic more races then the empire etc.

because BW doesn't immediatly impliement what you want doesn;t mean they're not listening. if these are game breaking issues for you unsub and wait 6 months a lot of these issues may be addressed.

I do agree somewhat.. something like a combat log is just annoying not to have for those "Wait how did I die?" moments, plus along time ago I came from table top gaming and it's just annoying not being able to see the "dice" ie. the actual numbers.

Other things aren't so much staples are good features.

But I would have to say the reason people don't feel like bioware is listening is simply because they don't post on the forums. And one must assume they don't even read them and instead get some kind of "community feedback report" compiled by some underling somewhere along the line. Then they work out what they'd like to fix, then pass their notes over to some PR dude who writes up a blog post. Maybe not, but anyway it just annoys the hell out of me there are about zero replies to huge threads and never is it someone who actually works on the problem when there is a reply, it's some community manager.

They should really take a page out of League of Legends book and be as open and friendly with the community as possible.

Even WoW has ghostcrawler nowadays who (at least when I read those forums) posted constantly.

I'm not even sure who does which job and I can't think of their names off the top of my head with these people. I think they should of went with gamertag style names too, it's further evidence that they are on your side, the gamers.

But no, they don't do any of that.

Bah..

Why can't they just be friendly and helpful , why!?

/end rant

Hardly. That's like saying an athlete that accepts a trophy can't feel good about what hes done unless they can shove it in people faces--or a soldier with a medal.

I like having proof that I did something, not just the memory. I want to feel like my work was recognized and rewarded.

Very sad indeed, please seek professional help if you really need recognition for your efforts in a video game.

Bioware is listening. However, if you haven't noticed, everyone wants a number of things. Some clash with your list.

While I usually despise the pap of "give it time" , in some areas I suspect it WILL take time. Clearly the game was supposed to go live in March, not December. By then it will be a more complete experience.

- Chat Bubbles
- Inviting people to group from guild menu
Have someone type a "." in guild chat, click their name and invite them
- addons for end game players, more over "Target Dummies" so we can practice our

WE WANT FLUFF!!!! This was a bad point
- Collecter's edition mount that scales with mount speed.
Sorry but that CE was all fluff, in case you haven't noticed yet.
- A spacedock in Dromund Kaas city , or Coruscant City so players can zone right in and
we all have an actual city hub and not some small circle tube thing known as a space

Wut...? "Hi I am Lazy, nice to meet you."
- Proper segway from level 50 - HM Flashpoints - then Operations.
....what?
- a published loot table for bosses, so players can prioritize what and where they need to
go or do for upgrades.
Wow you really just want **** handed to you.
- Global cooldowns on abilities to make the combat feel more fluid, they feel to long.
ROFL, wow...
- Group summoning to instances.
Omg... Is this a troll post?
- Auction House that isn't clunky
Okay maybe not, because the AH system blows in this game atm.
- Forced faction balance, Empire is bloated. Give republic something to make players switch.
Will never happen. Balance will eventually happen for good players that don't enjoy sitting around doing nothing all day when they have a 4:1 population advantage. It's more fun to gank even 20 people with 8 when you went in with 8, and they had 40.

Iam glad to see things like guild banks and some loose ui mod coming as announced today, however some of this list like chat bubbles should have been in the game at launch and I like so many others do not want to see this game fail because Bioware refuses to give the fans what they want.
I think this guy is just dumb. Two thumbs down.

To answer your title:

Because you're not listening to BioWare.
