Trooper - Standing, Kneeling or going Prone.

Agreed.

I would expect some abilities to be inoperable while certain stances are engaged.

I was actually wondering if the trooper would gain bonuses when using cover, similar to the smuggler class that the videos have shown.

Why would you need to hold a blaster rifle with only one hand if you're behind a wall?

The ability to swap between standing an kneeling would be sweet! It would add a lot to gameplay and I hope bioware sees this thread. Going prone would be cool too but it would be too much to have 3 positions to fire from and imagine how hard it would be to prevent the character from clipping into the ground and other environment elements. Half the time the troopers gun would be inside the ground and it would look terrible.

Still a kneeling stance is a brilliant idea but really, as long as the trooper isn't shooting from the hip I'm happy.
