I hope there is not 4 force classes. With only 4 classes per side, why cut it down to 3 per side? I think there is other classes that would add much more variety for players.

Delcov, I think Drew's article about writing the Jedi Knight addresses this somewhat. I think they encourage you to make choices on what kind of Jedi you will be. And with the flashpoints along with other quests, and the fact that Bioware is ALL about every choice you make having an everlasting impact, I'd say it's already in the works, my friend.

its also indicative that the comparisons are always made to darth vader, windu, obi-wan, etc. no mentions of palpatine or yoda, the more force-oriented characters, both of whom are both pretty big archetypes. there isnt anything really close in terms of archetypes to these two: senator, with leia and padme? maybe, but i still think they get beat out.

too bad. i was hoping for a bit more variety. 4 force classes could be really cool, though, it just takes some careful differentiation. hopefully they will draw a pretty big line between the two in terms of lore and abilities and not just make it a matter of melee vs. ranged.
I'm starting to think that the "Sith Warrior" and "Jedi Knight" are template names and your choices throughout the game (dialogue, skill upgrade, quest choice, etc.) will lead you more toward your desired focus, whether it be consular, sentinel, or guardian. With all MMO's there's some skill tree that allows you to focus on what you want to focus on. I see the same here, only enhanced because Bioware seems adamant about taking MMO's to a new and amazing lvl! I'm so excited!

Well, i personally will be trying each and every class for the storyline at the very least, if i like the class itself, i will keep it once i max out the level, if its not that enjoyable past the story, the money i have made on that character gets transferred to my new character, the old one gets deleted and i work on the new one.

I know for sure though, my main will be a Jedi Knight / Sith Warrior, but for story purposes i will be trying each and every class.

How does a Jedi Knight compare to a Smuggler?
"Absolutely!"
